It's always crazy to me that people stan a language enough to want to uphold some sort of historical definition of any specific word as if that matters at all. It's even more hilarious when we have seen languages evolve over time and words given different meanings over the last how many hundreds/thousands of years that any given language has existed for. I guess it was okay for things to change then but not now, right?

I encounter so many of these people on the internet, and I commend all of you for trying to reason and have this conversation about it in the year 2020. Maybe if this was 2015 I could understand if someone wanted to claim ignorance or 'want my mind changed', but there's no way that this is someone's first exposure to this at this point. If after years someone is still trying to make the same argument then maybe they don't actually want their mind changed.

The spoiler is that they don't actually care about upholding the sanctity of the language or whatever nonsense they try to mask it as.

Kyler is clearly injured but I hate that all year either the competition has played down to the Pats, or they've played up in almost every game.

In a vacuum forfeiting a game could theoretically work, but there is so much more that the NFL and the football world cares about than just the game. Betting, fantasy football, media rights, broadcast money, etc. You're going to make a lot of different people upset by having a game not be played and I don't think the NFL wants that.

Also this is a big fantasy week for me so let's not have Alvin Kamara not playing thanks.

Turkey lunch meat is the best lunch meat, and turkey bacon is an acceptable bacon substitute that is also good.

But holiday full bird turkey is atrocious in all ways. Both dry and bland. If you have to put a disclaimer that your meat is only good when covered and surrounded with a bunch of other things (gravy, cranberry sauce), then your meat isn't good. Everything is good with the right sauce.

I'd probably have an easier time finding porn on Youtube starting from the homepage than I would starting at the home page of that other site. Especially because that stuff is mostly gated behind paywalls or subscription walls.

It's actually funny because Belle Delphine had her Youtube account recently suspended for posting suggestive videos, but nothing that was worse than something like the WAP video, meanwhile again you can find literal naked people on Youtube who are very much posing naked for suggestive reasons while veiling it behind 'education'.

You guys are failing to see the most important point with the Bucs which is that Brady is an old man that needs to be in bed by 8pm otherwise he can't function. Look at how he has played in every primetime game this year, he just can't do it.

It the Bucs can avoid late starts in the playoffs then they might be good to go. As long as they can get someone else to play the second half of the super bowl there's no stopping them.

I wish there was less hand-holding and cutscenes. This seemed worse in Sun/Moon than Sword/Shield to me, but I hated being stopped and having to sit through bad dialogue every 5 minutes.

Alright I'm here to vent about this fantasy situation that nobody cares about.

My opponent forgot to start his D for some reason, like somehow left it empty. He messaged the commish and said he was busy or whatever, commish agreed to edit them in as long as I agreed. It was the Browns D who are having a game and will likely be the difference. I said I don't think he should do it based on the principle that fantasy is literally about starting your players and if you take that away then what's the point. He said okay and that's that, but now I feel bad despite 100% of people telling me I shouldn't and that it's the other guy's fault clearly.

Obviously he meant to start the D, but he had all week to do it so forgetting today is kinda nonsense, right? He only picked them up this morning but they were available all week and he had hours since he picked them up to slot them in.

Really? I thought it raised really fast. I got it before Gladio's survival and Ignis' cooking

I haven't played it since launch so I don't 100% remember, but both of those had some aspect of them tied into the natural progression of game, so it felt like I was making progress on them while advancing the story and doing sidequests from what I recall.

The fishing was fun, but not, "alright let me spend multiple hours straight only fishing" fun because I mostly neglected it otherwise while playing the game.

The game was also kind of mediocre at launch so by the time the fishing came around I was just ready for it to be over, which probably impacted by enjoyment of it.

Final Fantasy XV's was fun for awhile, except that one of the trophies involved raising your fishing level to the max. It was the last trophy I needed for the platinum and by the time I got it I was very happy to both never have to fish or play the game ever again.

I can't imagine doing that for all forms. That'd literally be insane.

Yeah I've also got a living Dex minus the Crown Tundra stuff because I don't really feel like playing it just yet, and also don't care at all about forms other than the regional forms where it's essentially a different Pokemon altogether.

I also care about legitimacy as far as "If this Pokemon can exist in this state and also is transferable to Home, then it's good enough for me", which has saved me from doing an extra playthrough of Sword/Shield.
