Yeah I could agree with that but another place where the game falters a bit is the power-up selection. Obviously it's not going to compare to a game like Odyssey with basically 100 "power-ups" but Spring Mario, Bee Mario, and Ghost Mario are not really utilized very well here.

Yeah I'm about 90 stars into Galaxy for my first playthrough and I think it's definitely better than 64. My main critique of Galaxy is that it's a little too easy but I guess most of these games are. It's been more challenging than Odyssey was though so that's nice.

Yeah it's really baffling how poorly this game runs on the original PS4 compared to the PS4 Pro. When I would play at my friend's house it felt like there was a half second input lag sometimes.

Considering the most important thing for this mode is using all of your friend's units I'm not sure I can agree with that. EZ-areas are better for using weird units but I think those are worse actually

For my 122 million run I linked EZA Goku, Goten, and Gohan. The optimal Cells link at 31 but linking the family is 28 so not too bad if you see that.

Those leaked emails from Sony show that a crossover movie between Maguire and Garfield was being floated around after ASM2 came out so it's not like this is a new idea. I think we've had enough traditional Spider-Man movies so I'm okay with a wacky multiverse one.

The activities thing actually looks awesome to me but it might be a little too limited if it's just based around trophies. In the specific example they're playing a platforming game so it just took them to the level where they need the trophy. I don't see many games having that built in teleporting thing unless they're level based or they already have a similar fast travel system. It doesn't seem to make sense for most games.

It's not that I don't have the ability to mentally produce something like image 6. I can produce basically whatever image I want. However--at least in comparison to doing something equivalent with sound--it feels like I really have to spin my wheels in order to produce image 6, and even when I do I can't easily maintain it in my head for large amounts of time. Whereas with music I could quite easily play through an entire song in my head from start to finish.

I think that's the thing that's so difficult to grasp for people who don't have aphantasia. They literally can't even picture the star in their head, there's no images. It's like they're blind in their head

Visual - Picture an apple on a plate.

1. What color is the apple?
2. What variety is the apple? (Red Delicious, Granny Smith, Macintosh...)
3. Which direction is the light coming from?

Touch/Proprioception - Imagine your hand and an object, any object, in front of you.

1. Can you mentally reach out and touch it?
2. Does the object feel like it should? Hard/soft, hot/cold, smooth/rough, etc...
3. Could you feel your own imagined hand and arm? Were you aware of the physical movements in the same way that you know where your physical arm/hand/fingers are without looking?
4. How heavy is the object you imagined? The right weight?
5. Can you change that weight?
6. Close your eyes (mentally or physically, whatever works) and concentrate on that imagined hand. Start with the thumb. Tap it to your palm. Do the same with your index finger, then your middle, ring, little finger. Any problems?
7. Can you keep going? In other words, can you continue to 'tap fingers' with fingers you don't have - imagine that you had extra fingers - despite not having a real-life analogue to compare to?
8. Can you go a step further, and imagine the feel of wholly alien things (bird wings, say) that will require entirely fictitious input?

Smell - Imagine a flower, preferably one with a strong smell

1. Can you smell it at all?
2. Does it smell strong enough, or just a faint whiff?
3. Is the smell accurate - a rose smelling like a rose?
4. Can you make it smell like something else - fresh cookies, say?
5. Multiple smells at once? Rose, cookies, old stinky socks?

Taste - Seems to be pretty rare, but... imagine a few foods.

1. Can you taste them?
2. If you imagine something salty - like a pickle or potato chips - and add imaginary salt to it, does it taste saltier?
3. Can you distinctly tell apart the taste of distinct items, like, say, two flavors of chips, or two kinds of candy bar, or two different wines?
4. Kind of the acid test: if you imagine a few foods and what they would taste like together, can you go in your kitchen, get those foods, eat them together, and have them taste the same? That is, are your imagined tastes demonstrably the same as the real thing to a degree that it would be useful cooking?

Yeah I could do all of that too but it doesn't look anything close to number 6. Reading books is VERY vivid for me but everything I picture in my head still has a sort of hazy fuzz. Shit maybe I have hyperphantasia I mean it's not like there's a way to ever really know.

I've actually thought I should be better at art because I can clearly see a drawing or image in my head with all of the lines and colors and where everything should be but I can't replicate it very well in practice.

Pretty sure if you switch between floors then the next boon you find is from the new god but I've never tested it myself

Yeah I do not recommend the traps one because it makes certain traps do like 200 damage. The final boss also has that attack where green hands come out of urns and those count as traps too. I lost a few runs to traps before I decided to just turn that one off.

I'd recommend the +15hp on normal enemies because it's barely noticeable and the one that gives every enemy 1 hit of blue armor. The blue armor isn't a big deal either unless you're using a really slow weapon.

Alright so looking through the guide it does say that HP, ATK, and DEF of your friend units will affect your attack but I still think it's more important to pick red characters. I think that 6 crappy red characters will still do more damage than 6 rainbow blue characters.

I mean the strategy last time around was to pick as many Ult Gohans as possible (because they were red) and people were definitely not rainbowing some of those crappy Ult Gohan cards.

I thought the stats only mattered on your Attacker and none of the other stats matter? You just want to pick the friend with as many red shiny units as possible and then when you're actually playing you want to pick the 3 cards that link together the best.

Yes there's randomness in most competitive games so minimizing your chance to be affected by that randomness is part of the skill you need to acquire.

If you want to win then you're doing yourself a disservice by not learning the best strategies. If you're not making it to the finals in 90% of games then you need to stop and think about which levels eliminate you the most. If it's team games then that's a shrug but if it's something like Fruit Chute then there are things you could do to improve.

I mean if you just want to play and hope you win then feel free but complaining afterward is a little silly. Just because it's a colorful game with a lot of randomness doesn't mean you're more entitled to wins compared to anything else. Yes it's frustrating that you need to win to get the cool skins but plenty of people are winning consistently.

This looks like a Black Friday model which means they only produce these to be sold for cheap on black friday. I mean there's nothing wrong with that necessarily but there's probably a "real" version of this TV that's more expensive.

The only thing that stands out to me is 2 HDMI ports when 3 or 4 seems to be standard. There's probably other small cutting corner things at play here too.

I played for about an hour and a half today and got 2 wins. I think I averaged a win every 30 minutes during season 1 so a win every 45 minutes seems about right now that people have gotten better at the game.

My first impression was that it's absolutely the worst thing in the game. I guess it could be good with lightning attack or Artemis boon that fires a homing missile. The special is almost completely useless in my opinion.
