The best way to do this is to send kids back to school but every day take the kids temps in first period/homeroom. Kids have GOT to go back to school.

But see, that's my view. If they close schools or even go hybrid childcare is going to KILL us. Lime have to move kill us. That's rotten. Also, the mortality for children is infinitesimal. Kids die of the flu or other reasons during the school year and we don't close the whole school down.

Distance learning is the new normal. People like you will try to open the schools with disastrous results. Schools will be shut down possibly indefinitely, the question is how many deaths will it take?

There's a difference between banning travel to prevent the spread of covid and using the situation to implement a racist policy while at the same time downplaying Covid. Trump did the latter.

Why not just make your own. It's very quick, very simple. You can even get premade sauce and crust. Put sauce on crust, then cheese, then toppings of your choice or just cheese, it's your choice.

Not all kids can strive by sitting in front of a computer. Some kids are hands on learners.

I think you underestimate instructor led classes. You cant just sit a kid in front of a computer for 8 hours a day and expect them to absorb all that information. Thats not how kids learn. When schools closed early this year parents were staying home and working with their children to help them with online classes. They no longer have that luxury.

Kids can adapt. Learning remotely is the only feasible option right now

If we had real leadership, it would be directed and enforced that Florida shut down and people are to stay in their homes. No traveling across state lines. Supplies can be allocated and delivered based on household size to remove the need to go to stores.

I'm hoping shutdowns and stay at home orders start up again and last that long. We as Americans have let this virus get out of control and we need to reign it in.

People misunderstand this. It's a bare minimum but it should a lot father away from each other per CDC guidelines.

They need to add a stay at home order as well. We also need to do this at a federal level and stop with this 30 day stuff when we keep needing to renew the lockdowns. Shut down at a federal level indefinitely because people don't understand that 30 days doesn't mean everything is okay to open again.

There's no reason to be holding group events when you can do them online. Now is not the time to start gathering. Stay at home. The virus is being spread uncontrolled, and until that stops, we need to stay at home.

We can't stay open or reopen when the virus is not being controlled. Rent needs to be paid, mortgages need to be paid, these need solutions but opening is not the answer.

You want people to avoid crowded indoor spaces; putting them in jail is just worsening the issue.

Ideally, you might have public servants handing out masks, rather than punishing those without one, but that's not really a tool in the police's box.

At least people in jail wouldnt be allowed to travel. Jails can test inmates and group them in the same cell thereby ensuring no one gets infected.

Isolate everyone coming to and from the country for at least two weeks would be a great start.

So be it then. If people are going to be stupid, we have to respond. At least in prison, they can be contained for at least two weeks. This is a matter of public safety.

It's time to re-shut down. These reopenings are causing spikes that we cannot contain. This time enforce it. People need to stay home.

False. You're supposed to drain it, then run it under cold water immediately, effectively stopping the cooking process.

For the simple reason that when you drain the pasta, it continues to cook. When you toss it with the sauce, it continues to cook. If you follow the directions on the package, your pasta will be overcooked. So always reduce the time by one minute, two minutes, three minutes at least. You will taste the difference. It's very simple.

Sports will not be happening. We know that. Social distancing and stay at home orders / shutdowns may need to continue through at least 2022. We as humans need to adapt and get used to it. Places experimenting with reopening will be shutdown again by September.
