There is current direct evidence all over the place that it's not working. Now, linking the extreme cost of living increases to the increase in minimum wage is of course supposition. Perhaps they would have gone up anyway, but the fact of the matter is places where min wage increased drastically have had a much larger increase in cost of living than in the past, and in almost every situation, the cost of living increase has been far more severe and detrimental, then the bonus to the min wage (especially when you take into account the higher amount of taxes being paid on the additional income.

Stop raising the freaking minimum wage. It's not HELPING those making min wage, and it's hurting everyone who was making within 2-3x min wage before.

Cost of living SKYROCKETS every time min wage goes up. It's insane. It's worse now then before min wage was raised in many places by 50% or so.

IF you raise wages, raise them across the board.

Raise min wage from 10-15$ (happened or is happening many many places) and you have everyone who made 11-15$ suddenly be making min wage, and everything costs more (so they effectively are making less than before).

Raise wages (non-salaried) universally by 20%, and at least everyone would get an increase that would help deal with the cost of living increase that goes along with it. Honestly though boosting wages just seems to hurt the poor the most.

IT hurts anyone makign near min wage a ton. It hurts anyone on disability/social security etc a ton, and it doesn't seem to really help ANYONE, even those who were making exactly min wage before (and honestly even pure min wage jobs get raises over time, so if you worked one awhile you were making more than min wage...but now...if it goes up, your back at min wage again.

STOP RAISING MIN WAGE.

Start providing housing/rentals that are affordable instead. Increase deductions as well, and reduce taxes on the poor (up to a real cost of living).

Seriously, people who are trying to get min wage raised need to look and see what has happening in areas where it jumped significantly in a few years. IT's WAY harder for a person in many of those places to live than it was before.

Most of the protesters are just regular outraged leftists but i think you have to be lying to yourself if you think they're all peaceful. Certainly, there are small pockets of extremists in these groups

Trump has been in power for almost 4 years and the US is not destroyed.. it was doing the best it has been in many years before the CCP virus hit. Can't blame all the cases on Trump, blame the stupid people.

I don't know if I'd say there's a lack of classic JRPGs, and people can always play the actual classics, but I can see why would that "classic" feel would draw people in. That's why I first wanted to play it, especially since it based on classic Final Fantasy which is one of my favorite series. I just don't think it was well-executed.

Beautiful? Not so much. At most, she's cute for a politician, and that's only if you can get over the fact that she's kinda bug-eyed. However, her looks are largely responsible for her success since, out of her Gang of Four, she gets the most attention despite being equally far left as the others.

Smart? Not in the least. She's poorly informed, she was an unremarkable student who demonstrates profound ignorance within the subject of her majors, etc, and prior to being elected was a waitress cum bartender (and Austin Rogers she's certainly not)

Talented? Depends what we're talking about. She's an expert provocateur, which helps her get noticed. She's a master manipulator, which helps her keep her office (particularly when doing the SAME things she slammed her predecessor for doing, like not showing up to debates). However, she hasn't been particularly good at accomplishing anything since her crazy ideas get attention but are ultimately shot down. #GreenNewSteal

It's ridiculous to expect justices, judges, etc, to be machines. However, and far more importantly, "conservative" justices (ie, really just Republican-nominated justices) are far more likely to vote against their political orientation than liberal judges. The liberal justices typically always vote together on ideological lines whereas "conservative" justices tend to either vote with liberals, dissent, write separate opinions, etc. Or, in other words, Democrat-nominated candidates almost always vote Democrat, whereas Republican-nominated candidates tend to vote more independently.

And keep in mind he shot *through* the door. If you're going to kill somebody, you usually don't want to damage your own shit in the process. Especially since, if it was deliberate, he could have opened the door then shot the cop. Or left the door unlocked and shot him inside when he walked in, which would give him greater plausible deniability.
