Just put native animals on the money and maybe a few statues, if they saved someones life. Might be preemptively good to not put any carnivores, though.

If you dig enough or consider the evidence, you wont find any humans who are beyond reproach. I think this will be especially true as peoples moral standards change in years to come. We dont know what the Hell our grandkids will be mad about.

Theres letters & writings left behind by the Founding Fathers. They knew that slavery was wrong & immoral and did it anyways or stood by as it happened.

You are not wrong, although what you said also applies to all of us. There is literally still slavery going on as we speak. Yet none of us is doing shit about it. A few people are. Theyve given up their normal lives to risk getting attacked, killed or imprisoned, and losing what little they have. Ive made a decision to not rock the boat because I like my comfortable life and dont want to endanger my family. The Founding Fathers wrestled with their conflicting views because slavery was mostly accepted, even if the brutality wasnt. We dont have that excuse. And we cant justify our inaction by saying we dont have any power or resources right now, because weve recently seen thousands mobilize all over the world for a cause they did take seriously.

Just keep all those statues of dogs. Theyre pretty noble. Although I can still see it being sometimes problematic because Ive seen statues honoring military working dogs who sniff for bombs, for example, and many people oppose war efforts.

Like, think about how awful you have to be in the 1400s to get some white Europeans at you so mad at how you treated some random indigenous people across the fucking world that they throw you in prison.

Was it really that, or was the government angry that Columbus was physically brutal to some of his own countrymen and women? I remember reading that he punished them harshly as well. Like you implied, Europeans at that time were not that sympathetic to indigenous people anyway.

That is a big problem for some people. They dont feel that all guests should be allowed to talk publicly and that anyone should have access to what theyre saying. Joe Rogan doesnt care and will talk to anyone he finds interesting. He does not always agree with every guest and has even been aggressive about it on several occasions. It's better to focus over what you have control over than to blame all your problems on the system.

I agree, but focusing on what you can improve means you have to take responsibility for your actions, for better or worse. Not everyone, maybe most, do not want to do that. It can be painful and lonely. If you blame all your problems on the system or other people or whatever, then you get to be part of larger movements. You can do that with like-minded people and its, by definition, easier to dismiss your personal failures.

If I understand correctly, the argument for defunding police is to make society so great for everyone, that no one will be motivated to commit crimes. Anyone saying they dont want to actually get rid of police isnt being truthful. They do want to get rid of police, and maybe that is not automatically a bad thing. Their plan is to replace cops with social workers, mental health experts and such. Ideally, this will create a much less violent environment for everyone.

Id like to see a big city try this out.

Im not sure how that will work when we start to really transition towards automated workforces. The new industry will probably create new jobs for humans, but I doubt it will be so many that it will cover the jobs lost. Might as well pay people the basic income theyve been asking for, although I believe that could put the nation behind other up and coming nations that dont have that same concern.

Theres no way to know for sure on that hypothetical, but I will state that you can not defeat white supremacy without the help of white people, because they hold the power.
