I actually liked having something to do with my left foot, and the modicum of control that came from shifting gears manually wasn't too bad either.

The few times I drove one on base, I kept forgetting about shifting. Itd take me too long to shift sometimes. I don.the really like the doing extra stuff while driving. I think thats one of the reasons I didnt care to learn. I think doing something with my left foot at the same time would have probably been the same. It probably would distract me, tbh...

I think so. I do remember a few different cases of parents refusing to let their children get medical care. And people were very upset and wanted the kids to be taken away from them... Like, I understand some people are super religious, but risk your life instead of your child's. Some people even tried the "What if God made medicine?" type of thing like ChaosAzeroth said, but that still didn't work, IIRC...

It wouldn't be bad if it was just the parents. The problem is when they have kids who need to go to the hospital and don't take them because they're waiting for God to heal them. And when they die, they just say it's all part of God's plan for whoever...

You can turn down a job thats not suitable, though. What classified as suitable depends state to state. Like I think California says suitable is if the job is in the same field or something...

Im assertive. And I get them to do their job when I call. My co-worker at the end of the week is assertive enough. Im probably too assertive. I let people know I wont do certain things. And that I do my job correctly. And they have to live with it. I have to make other sections at work learn how to do their job, as well... Thats a whole separate issue, though. Its basically half of my area with a few people In different areas whos been here long enough trying to keep the whole squadron from falling apart and imploding oN itself...

Our manager changes so often that it would depend on who it is. That being said, we usually have a good relationship with whoever it is because were good at what we do. The other problem is that most of the stuff is simple for us. Though, it is a lot. And they usually have information needed for that stuff that we dont. And why have the other section of they wont even do their job at all?

Thats basically what I do. The only reason I call then is because I need them to put in certain things so I can do my job. I usually just think they may have forgotten, or thought someone else did it. But then I call and hear that they thought we would do it. They even once said, Well do it for you. Out management doesnt seem to have control over them. And their management just blindly backs them up. Weve been able to keep telling them to do their job. Lets say youre doing your job and you work closely with another section. And you do what youre suppose to do. But the other section wont do their job and keeps telling you that its your job. I always just thought of him as that happy gentleman in the suit, but... Yeahh... Fair. I can see how that could rub people the wrong way.

The thing is, the guy they based it off of was called Uncle Ben. And apparently did have like some of the best rice. So, its actually kind of honoring. But I guess having successful black people is racist. The only way I wont really see them removing those two people as not racist is if they keep the people, but just rename them. Like Mrs. Jemima or Mr. Ben (or replace the names with their last names)...

Otherwise, it seems like theyre just removing black people from products. Especially if they replace then with white people. I have no problem with white mascots. But removing the black ones and replacing them with white people would seem more racist then keeping them...

Wash your feet and you'll have smaller problems.

People wash their feet and the sweat still stinks. I dont understand how washing will affect that. I can wash up and still have sweat that doesnt smell good. Maybe you have some weird thing in your body that makes your sweat smell sweet. But most people I know dont have sweaty feet that smell good...
