The "price of oil" is based on oil futures contracts. People try to predict how much supply and demand there will be in the next month. Of course you don't know actual demand drops until the oil is actually consumed. I think we are just arguing semantics here, the prices crashed because people anticipated demand would be lower once the lockdowns went into place. Unless you believe there is some other mysterious reason the prices went down.

What made the first season so good was that it was an old noir mystery story with lots of twists and turns as we followed Kovacs through this perverted new world. It tapered off at the end when his sister ended up being the big bad. The plot twist wasnt bad, I just feel like the show did a pretty poor job handling her. And then when the daughter somehow emerged from healing as a walking death machine and killed everyone, that was so dumb.

season 2 just felt soooo meh, they just toss the whole mystery/private detective themes out the window. They should have kept Quell dead, and explored something else in that world. The one interesting thing they did bring up at the end, some mysterious alien spirit coming back, fell soooooo flat. You killed muh baby trees!!!! I want revenge was all that we got from that? They could have gone so much deeper with that concept. And the whole Kovacs copy was so dumb

No, it didn't cause this. The huge drop happened before lockdowns. It's why it's still going though.

The demand drop started in China when lockdowns went into place, and the prospectors buying oil started getting more and more worried that a lockdown would happen in the US and worldwide, causing an even bigger drop in oil futures.

Umm... oil demand drop is what caused this. The US is by far the largest oil consumer, so it is safe to say Americans not driving has something to do with oil being low lol.

Saudi/Russia price war accelerated the drop, thats for sure, but if that were the true cause, then the price of oil would have bounced back when OPEC+ agreed to the biggest production cut in history. Also oil was already dropping pretty quick before the Saudi/Russia fallout.

I heard oil futures are negative. Think about that for a second, theoretically, people will be paid to take oil(at least that's what I get from it).

That is what we are talking about w/ oil prices, the May futures for oil went below $0 because today was the last day of the contract. Tomorrow the June futures start, and they are trading at like $20, so oil will go right back up to $20 tomorrow. That is why you didn't see the stock market get absolutely pummeled today (oil stocks actually went up), this is just a weird thing that happens in a commodity market when we are in an oversupply. It certainly isn't good for oil companies to have oil at $20, but this isn't the end of the world that a headline like $0 Oil would make you think.

Oil stocks actually didnt do that bad today, and the price of oil tomorrow will be back to $20, today was just the result of a commodity market oddity when we are at the end of a monthly contract.

the oil industry has had a decent bounce over the last couple weeks, I am expecting it to go back down before we get to the real recovery after people are allowed to drive again

I am assuming you are talking about the post Jackson era? This was probably the most polarizing time in US politics. Also a lot of these Presidents are frequent top picks for the worst Presidents of all time list. We did have Harrison, Taylor, and Lincoln all die in office (technically Lincoln was President for more than 4 years), and Polk just decided not to run again (despite being popular and the last good President before Lincoln).

I almost tripled my money on TVIX when the market tanked (basically shorting the market).

Lost a lot on some idiotic trades, got pretty cocky lol

The last couple weeks I have been on a nice winning streak though, made 12% on apple, 10 to 15% on multiple trades on WPX, a nice 35% gain on LBRT. Just bought into DRIP, I feel like oil stocks have to go down w/ oil at $18... no idea how they are up huge today.

Do you know what happens when countries just stop producing? Do you realize how long they are going to have to stop producing after the Saudis and Russia kicked into overdrive during a time when the demand was so low?

What do you think happens? It's not like the resource and the infrastructure to get it out of the ground just disappears into the ether. It's definitely not good for individual companies and countries to be shut in for long periods at a time, but the industry as a whole will bounce back from this when demand comes back.

No.... it is simple supply and demand. If prices are below the break even price, that means there is too much supply, so countries will stop producing. This will lower the supply, causing the price to go back up, and as soon as it goes above break even price, they will start producing again.

I have been in a similar situation (although yours sounds a bit more extreme), I was with a girl for a year who I think was bipolar. We were stuck in a cycle of about every 4 days she would get super pissed at me for some random thing, yell, make me feel like shit, not talk to me for a couple days, then we would finally be back to normal for about 24 hours before starting again. When I tried to leave, she threatened to call the cops and claim rape.

Like a lot of people said, just ignore her, put her on block, and never respond. Also, if you aren't already, find a therapist to go talk to. That helped me immensely at the time, just taking the time once a week to talk to someone, allowed me to take a step back and really examine what was happening to me.

combat is pretty basic, though -

press square to attack, hold it for longer attack

circle to dodge

R1 to block

triangle to change different style (haven't really tried it, though), and for Cloud, I think it makes his attacks stronger, but slower, and for Barrett, it charges up a stronger blast

and X pulls up the menu that slows down battle so you can use spells, items, abilities once your ATB gauge fills up

You could beat the entire game in FFXV by just holding circle and drinking a potion when health got low, so this seems like a big improvement

Get him on a schedule consistent bathroom schedule ASAP. Maybe keep him isolated to the non-carpeted area of the house when you arent playing/training him directly for a few weeks till he is potty trained? And crate training is a life saver
