1. How fricken rare is the Ranchu Goldfish? I'm having like Stringfish-level difficulty getting this thing.

2. Has anyone had Flies spawn while the cherry blossom "snow" has been going? I'm starting to get legitimately annoyed with the fact I can't get one to spawn.

I got a fly to spawn yesterday, if youre really impatient, throw a tire, can and boot down right in front of your house then enter and exit until it spawns

Might work better at night, Im pretty sure there is a smaller pool of bugs that spawn at night so youre more likely to get the fly

And I just caught the Ranchu Goldfish on the second bait I used this time...omfg

E: Also the fact I have 60 Fish (which isn't even the total amount you could have right now) to only 43 Bugs is nuts. Like I get neither hemisphere has seen summer yet so a lot of bugs are still missing but that's nuts.

Egg Day is the only event I have experienced in Animal Crossing (just started playing a few days ago), are all the other events going to suck this bad? There are fricken eggs everywhere... and all the craftable stuff looks atrocious lol

Judging by the notes on tomorrow's fishing tournament on the AC Board I'm going to say "Yes", or at the very least Nintendo takes a lot of the feedback to heart (which given the speed of the one patch to lower the egg spawn rate seems like they could be).

Starting to get real Pocket Camp vibes already.

Not to mention I'm fucked for the tournament tomorrow anyways, I won't be able to play until 4 PM and it only runs until 6 PM.

Day 7 in Broad City. One of my villagers has started singing in the middle of the town square.

So the villagers in this game are definitely different. They dont have as much to say as they did in previous games, and they dont give you quests nearly as often, but they seem to act very logically which I like.

They do all the activities you do, they sit, eat, go to the shops, and I just went to Tangys house and Pheobe is just hanging out. Not a birthday or party or anything, they just chillin'. Kinda like how the villagers feel kinda real lol. Some even put on glasses when they reading, and sleeping caps when its getting towards nighttime and they at home.

Really loving this game lol.

I can make you the bonsai if you end up not being able to get a spare DIY. I actually need someone to hook me up with the wood floor, since its just the floor I am not to worried about being able to make my own, just probably need one.

I just wanted to say I agree with your take on turnips towards the end of the last topic. I also dont think you should be able to sell turnips on other islands - kinda defies the whole point.

The whole point of Turnips is to make money.

If you can do that on another island, I don't see how that is a bad idea.

Time travelling is one thing, but going to another island? Hell, a huge amount of the game mechanics are based off of that.

I have all the recipes (and got an extra cherry blossom wand recipe just a few minutes ago), but I shrugged off catching petals up until now. I'm up to like 50 something out of 89

could I maybe get your extra wand DIY? Thats one of the remaining 2 i need.

Yeah but why even put something into the game where half its mechanic (the risk of losing money) is irrelevant due to another mechanic?

Like I'm not gonna complain but it seems like such a weird decision in hindsight.

Man, just experienced the feels.

My wife and I played the original AC on Gamecube years and years ago but my kids picked it up a few years ago and both of them loved it and played it. I had millions and millions of bells stashed away on another town (different memory card) from turnip stock market.

So I would go and grab a whole bunch and bury it around the main town where all 4 of us now were playing on. And I would periodically mail notes and presents and whatnot. So basically, yeah I know its bad but they were able to pay off the homeloan, build biggers house, get the town statue all from the bells I kept burying.

Anyway, flash forward to when ACNH was released, the kids who are now older wanted it, so i got it digitally and they've been playing it since. They keep asking me to make my character and I finally did about 3-4 days ago, and the kids keep dropping off expensive sharks and fishes all over my tent (to sell off) which after paying off my miles, I paid off the first house payment just like that. And they keep mailing me notes with presents. Lol. Complete role reversal, and I got the feels.

Everything that comes from a DIY card, not the stuff that your character thinks up from collecting eggs, so the outfits from each egg type and the hat and dress arent included. There are 17 in total you need to craft
