Reason recoveries probably aren't as high because they probably are only testing a lot of those that have symptoms missing asymptomatic recovers, and those who aren't sick enough to be hospitalized probably have to self-report recovery which may not be happening.

The Ford case is definitely a lot more ambiguous than you are leading it to believe.

She never named Kavanaugh before accusing him. Therapist says she didn't. She claims she told the therapist his name. Therapist doesn't verify this. (Not that it would confirm the story as true either even if she had).

This comes only all the sudden when the left is freaking out about a conservative control of the supreme court taking hold.

I mean, neither has any evidence, and we should side with the accused in the situation when evidence doesn't exist.

However, you can't be all like zomg Trump sexually assaulted that one woman yadda yadda. I believe all women! The bill says you can go on unemployment if you are afraid of contracting the virus. And, many states don't require you to actively seek work or provide proof of it (many waive it), but you can just apply for jobs you are unqualified for to get around it anyways.

It is a job killing wage. Not a living wage. And a honey pot one gamble. It incentivizes you not to work and not go to the hospital because you don't have medical. It's a gamble. It is an economy killing wage. It is a great setup that will lead to an even bigger wealth gap than ever imagined. Bailouts won't even matter when companies can't run at all.

Shelter in place appears to be taken pretty seriously around here. The streets have maybe 10% of the people Id normally see on them unless Im in the vicinity of the grocery store.

There does seem to be a lot less cars out, but the order itself isn't being enforced. It is up to the people to decide whether they wanna take it as a joke or not basically.

As an introvert, I have had no problems keeping to the social distancing guidelines, but I can envision extroverts rationalizing their need for in-person socializing over a stay at home mandate. I'm not saying I agree or that I think it's wise, but I can understand how some people might prioritize it that way.

The worst part is that my fiancee has INCREASED her social interaction since the crisis. It is like she has to do the literal opposite of whatever she is told.

Going back to the Chinese reclosing theatres and the 30-50% reliability on the testing for the virus there, they are reporting 5-10% reinfection rates in China.

They also said all asymptomatic positives and "reinfections" are not counted in their totals.

Are the "reinfections" due to the unreliability of the tests and false negatives being followed up by positives or actual reinfections. Officials are trying to figure it out.

I literally cannot get my fiancee to stop seeing other people during this crisis.

She literally invited 4 people over the house the other day to party with. Keeps going to her families houses almost every single day. These are people who work in grocery stores, care homes, and other stores.

I stated today you need to stop making excuses to hang out with people before you kill someone. She said, "I am going to have a social life. I don't care what you say."

Like, I don't get it.

My aunt and grandmother said they are on lockdown for the entire duration. They aren't going anywhere at all. Then told me they are having 25 people over for Easter dinner. What?

My cousin is petrified by the virus supposedly. Won't even let his mother see her grandson because he is afraid of the virus getting to his son. Asked someone to watch his kid the other day so he and his girlfriend could go to a poker gathering to drink and play cards? What?

Like, I think people have literally no understanding of what social distancing actually means.

I'm Canadian, so it doesn't matter what I think, but I'm not ready to be pissed off at Trump unless he actually pushes to jumpstart business as usual before it's appropriate. As it stands I think it's been less of a meltdown than it could have been, although admittedly I have the benefit of distance.
