So someone crosschecked the data between new confirmed cases here in Indonesia and number of tests done and...basically we do about 150 tests per day and get 100-115 positive results back.

We're just doing waaay less tests than we need to do atm.

This sucks. People still not taking this seriously. The gov won't mandate lockdown since they don't want to have actually feed the people. And of course the politicians are doing their best to use each other's response as smear campaign.

That's probably the highest positive rates I have ever heard of for Coronavirus testing lol. Talk about strict standards.

Whether or not you believe the social distancing may be relaxed, the possibility of bringing the Coronavirus into his home to his parents will always exist until a vaccine is approved which won't happen a year to a year and a half from now.

I am not saying he should bring his girlfriend over against his family's wishes. I am saying that realistically that situation cannot work. If he likes her, he unfortunately due to the crisis has to make the leap or not.

I will also say this in the nicest way possible. You need to stop bringing your problems into games.

We like playing with you crescent. You are a good player and bring fun to games, but you kill it all when you start acting like the game is going to mentally break you down or some shit. It is just a game. It is for fun. Relax and play it.

You can play to win. You can play to have fun. You can play however you want. But, bringing your mental stresses into the game is never a good idea.

And, never... I mean... Never. Say you know something outside of the game that might be modkillable to say what it is. Everrrr. Like, that shit pissed a lot of people off. You may have ensured DYL never plays another game again with us with that.

Now you made a mistake with it. So be it. We don't hate you for it.

And, we aren't yelling at IGCD. We just think he could have said he was gonna be strict prior to the game starting.

Also for anyone wondering about the modkill, essentially the way I look at it is, the players know when the end of the day is and are responsible for not posting past that and the host is responsible for making timely post duty posts so if you post past the deadline but before I post stop I let it slide, if you post after I post stop no leeway. Crescent made a post acknowledging exactly when the day was going to end then posted 28 seconds after the deadline and after I posted stop so there was no leeway to be had in that scenario.

Tange posted after the deadline as did Red the final day. I am all for strict enforcing but gotta be consistent.

Just because you posted in between. Her hitting the button and tange did is hardly a fair division.

So just to throw it out there, I wasn't super enthusiastic about the game because it became super evident that no one really wanted to play. I know I still make some minor mistakes when setting up and writing things out. I used to have a document that I used for a baseline of how I was going to set things up and I would add to it everytime I hosted because I would make a mistake and someone would point it out. So everytime that happened I would add to my doc, but it got deleted around the time of my last hosted game and that was like 2 years ago so there were probably a few more mistakes and inconsistencies than I would have liked to have.

The game was fine really. You did steal Han's hosting spot tho . He said he was gonna host and like 4 messages later u put ur game up. Lol.

I think I know what he means, but he said it badly.

The federal stockpile is generally for federal use (military, wars, crisis, etc).

Now, I get you are going to say if this isn't a crisis what is. And, sure, it is.

However, what he seems to be saying is... States shouldn't be skimping on their own stockpiles because they can just rely on the federal stockpile to skimp on costs within their state. Some states shouldn't be spending whatever amount of money on a stockpile while your state skates by and just uses the federal stockpile as if it is their own.

Now, it's bad messaging and a bit silly right now, though probably right at the heart of it.

We don't have say Minnesota not stockpiling salt for winter while every other state does because they say "fuck it. We will save money and use the federal stockpile".

That's what he means. But, it's bad messaging and dumb because nobody could have thought to stockpile as much as this requires. Which is the same reason people expecting the federal stockpile to magically snap it's fingers and have all the stuff is silly as well.

The same shortage federally is kind of expected state by state. They should have been relating their shortages at the state level to theirs at the federal level as a sad reality. Instead, they failed to make the connection
