I also feel like it was a genre that infiltrated the mainstream and actually turned alot of people on to punk music, real punk music. I also agree that you don't hear pop punk bands talk about all the hard-living things that traditional punk rockers talk about such as addiction and homelessness. Now I can get the whole process done in like 20 minutes. Sounds like repetition will eventually allow the process to take less time. It might go smoother and quicker next time.
