Welp, that was probably my most insane run ever after a massive losing streak to go from 7260 to 6730.



About to do 37 damage to 2nd place in the background.



I didn't even start going Demons until tripled into a Voidlord. Tripling Mal'Ganis and Soul Juggler both got me Imp Mamas. The stars just super aligned for this build. I'm sure there are matches with crazier stats on those demons with buffs and such, but this game ended SO fast. I was dealing 25+ damage to everyone. Going into the very last battle, I tripled the Voidlord and it only gave me the Foe Reaper wow so unlucky

I keep goldens only if it leads to other goldens. Some examples of ones I have are Lab Recruiter, Witching Hour, and Bronze Explorer. Lab Recruiter can give goldens of any minion!

Or some just look really cool, like Cabal Shadow Priest. And then I'm keeping Thalnos because he was my first ever golden legendary.

I hopped on my alt account I made a long time ago and hadn't been on for at least 2 years so I could play Battlegrounds with Emerald without destroying my rating, and it led me to play the Outland prologue first, for some reason. So if you wanna see the prologue a week early, there's your avenue, I guess.

Also, if you want to play against Demon Hunter early, you can totally do so by going to solo and practicing against the Innkeeper.

They were real vague about it. Here's the quote from the announcement:
"If you currently have Battlegrounds bonus stats, choose from 3 Heroes, or visual emotes unlockedyou will get access to the equivalent new perk starting on March 26."

I don't know if "equivalent new perk" actually means "you keep your 3rd choices" or "we've found something else to give you so we can sell Tavern Passes". The way it's worded leads me to believe it's the latter. If it was the former, I don't feel like they would specifically mention the date. It would just read like "if you have these things, you will continue to have access to the equivalent perks for the upcoming expansion."

In order to make 2500 gold playing exclusively Battlegrounds (which is the target audience for the pass), you have to play AT LEAST 750 games. If you go off a 50/50 winrate, that's 1500 games! That's around 600 hours of playtime! Making those big bucks at

Whoa whoa whoa, I dunno how they snuck this one by me, but they're not gonna have the whole "buy this many packs of new expansion, get a 3rd choice in Battlegrounds" thing this year? Instead, you're stuck with 2, unless you pay them $20 for the Tavern Pass, which lets you choose between 4. And then the pass runs out after the expansion, so you have to pay another $20. This announcement came out last week, but somehow I just realized what that meant for Battlegrounds, because when I saw that earlier, I read the words "4 arena tickets" and dismissed it as something I didn't care about.

Well that's nice, Battlegrounds is gonna be pay to win starting in 3 days, when every other autobattler on the planet has no such feature whatsoever. WTF Blizzard....

MGS4 really needs you to at least have played MGS1 in order to get much out of it. MGS2 and MGS3 are also pretty heavily tied in, but 1 is an ABSOLUTE must.

MGS5 is actually a direct sequel to Peace Walker, which is itself a direct sequel to MGS3. My recommendation would be to watch some Peace Walker stuff on Youtube and then try out MGS5.

What mage deck could kill you on turn 6 with the coin?

They needed a much more specific hand on turn 6 than this Druid, but Flamewalker -> Coin -> Apprentice -> Apprentice into spells, then an Evocation -> Cyclone basically meant your entire board is now dead and your face was taking 20-30 damage.

After watching this first game, I've come to the conclusion that Wild is no longer salvageable. It was already on the brink, considering Mages could kill you from any board state on like Turn 6 with the coin anyway, but now it's suuuuuuper dead.

This post might get lost with the news coming out, but I wanted to expand upon the discussion we had about the state of Standard yesterday. I managed to get up to Rank 8 last night, so I just bit the bullet and net-decked a quick Galakrond Rogue deck, except I shoved Lab Recruiter in for Leeroy because I refuse to play him, to at least make my deck sorta unique. Despite conceding immediately a few times to any Activate the Obelisk sighting because I refuse to be subjected to that torture, I made it to Rank 5 in a matter of about 2 hours. God that deck is bonkers.

Yeah, that sums up exactly how I feel about the state of Standard at the moment. I pride myself on never playing any of the top-tier decks and still reaching Rank 5 every month. But that's only led me to be stuck at Rank 10 for March, despite playing more Hearthstone than any other month thanks to spring break and corona. I've even started playing what I would guess are Tier 3 decks with stuff like Handlock and Highlander Priest and I still can't consistently win because Rogue and Hunter get completely out of control on an every game basis.

Just connect it to a twitch account and you're good to go. If you specifically only want to play with friends, make sure you have some way to talk to each other outside of the chat for that game. Make a Discord server or something. Then, make sure you take down the stream when switching games, so you can relay the code to your friends over that and hide the code on the broadcast before you bring it back up.

Something really seemed off to me about Dark Souls 2 when I played it. Something about the combat was just slightly wrong and I don't know what it is. I don't know if the hitboxes are wrong, if the timing's a bit different, or what. But the combat just doesn't feel nearly as rewarding to me as Dark Souls 1 or 3.
