Wait, doesn't Hisoka have that ability to make paper copies of stuff? Like he makes fake skin? Does that mean the reason his fortune changed is because he just used his ability to make a fake fortune?

Now that I think about it, you know what no resolution? Those big doors in front of the Zoldyck family estate. What I mean by that is, they make a big deal about how you have to be really tough to open even one door, and there's like seven, and Killua opened THREE when he came back!!! So you'd think there would be a scene of someone opening all of them just to show how strong THEY are. But, no, didn't happen.... not yet at least.

I still also don't know what Killua's mom is a robot either.

Also Silva has the same voice actor as Avdol from Jojo which I find a little funny. You know, I don't really recognize a lot of the voice actors in this show so far.

This boss guy sure loves this fortune poem, he can't shut up about it!!

The fight with him and the Zoldycks is really quite good. I am honestly unsure what the outcome is (episode ends on a cliffhanger). I feel like on most other shows, the Zoldycks would lost with one or both of them dead just to show how strong the Phantom Troupe boss is. But I dunno, I could actually see them winning.

Some interesting developments in these episodes. For one thing, I learned the finer points of forgery identification. Then I learned that for an elite groups of killers, this phantom troupe likes to keep it casual. I mean they weren't even going to kill Gon and Killua, the only reason they had to stay was because one of them wanted to nominate Gon as a member?? You'd think these assassins would kill anyone who were after them and now knew where theyre secret hideout was. Maybe that just goes to show how condifent they are.

I'm a little excited to see Big Daddy Zoldyck might be entering the story, that could be an interesting wrinkle I think.

ALSO, I continue to be highly suspicious of Leorio's continued non-combat and non-nen prowress. Every part of this story, even the OP and EDs, have been constructed to keep him out of fighting. But what is he hiding.....?

You mean his contract? I thought that literally just covered Chain Jail. Like he could use everything else, hell he can still hit people with chains all day. Its just specifically using his chains to hold and capture people he can only do to the phantom troupe or else the dagger next to his heart will kill him.

I like how the rules of Nen couldn't even be followed for even like one story arc. Kurappika has 100% mastery of all nen branches from what seems to be like a few months of training. OK.... funny enough, the fact he's SO strong now makes more worried about his life than before. Usually characters this powerful get written out somehow. Maybe he accidnetally uses Chain Jail on someone not from the troupe?

His fight was very impressive though!

This almost feels like a different show now. Not that I'm complaining, far from it!

I'm very concerned about these leeches in Uvogin. It's very creepy and I hope its dealt with soon and/or I don't know, he dies in battle so its no longer a concern.

The boss of the phantom troupe reminds me a lot of Rissoto from Jojo.

Technically my first playthrough of Deadly Premonition Origins.

I'm glad to say the game held up really well! Maybe even BETTER than I remember?? I actually liked the combat way more this time (though I wouldn't say I enjoyed it).... buuut I did go out of my way to get the infinite ammo weapons. Plus I did the sidequest to unlock fast travel as early as I could. So, knowledge of that stuff definitely helped. The game still doesn't look great, but since its been so long since it originally came out its aged looked doesn't stand out as much as it did when it was brand new, if that makes sense. I have a new hated part of the game: following willie the dog around towards the end. That goes on SOOOO LONG, especially when you know where you are going.

It's still insane to me that only is this game getting a sequel, it's coming out really soon! Feels like that shouldn't be possible, yet here we are!

I really like that now that Gon has punched Hisoka and returned the tag, he and Killua just kinda leave. They don't care about the arena, we don't even SEE a floor master. That's awesome!

Glad to hear it's all dubbed! I doubt it's all on Netlfix, unless the seasons get way longer (or what Netflix has decided to call seasons for this show).

And yeah, I've heard that the 2011 anime is definitely the one to go with, so I figured it was obvious that'd be what someone in 2020 would watch. Still thought I'd specify just to be clear.

The 2011 anime obviously. I'm like 24 episdes in right now. I guess I could say I'm in the middle of the "Killua Rescure Arc", though I dont know if he needs resucing anymore... I think it's pretty good so far! I wasn't sure what to expect, this is what I knew going in:

• There's Gon, he's like Green Naruto
• I think he might transform into a big buff guy with long hair??
• "Reverse Super Saiyan"
• "Chimera Ant Arc"
• "Nen"
• There's a clown
• There's a power introduced thats like Stands but without the stand (this might be "Nen")

So I kinda knew nothing. I'm surprised how much I like Gon, I thought at best I'd be amibvalent towards him but as far as a the happy-go-lucky child protagnists go he's not as obnoxious as I thought he might be. Then you got his friends. There's Killua, he's like a happy Sauske. He's sorta cool. There's uh, Karapuuika or whatever. He's whatever. Then there's Leorio. He's like, a normal guy?? I don't think he's had a real fight yet. Actually, he's suspiciously haven't had a fight yet, hm...... . Hisoka is cool, definitely like him.

The whole Exam arc was cool. I won't hold this story for starting with an exam arc either, I mean this predates Naruto right? It probably came UP with the exam arc idea.

I'm watching the dub, it's actually REALLY good so far. I hope they've dubbed all the episodes, and I can faind said episodes with ease....
