I always enjoyed PAX but it got to be too damn expensive to go to Prime anymore and getting into the close hotel (the one actually attached to the convention center) at East was a pain. I think 2011 was the last East I went to though, so not sure if they've improved the process since then.

I've done all three years of Unplugged since I actually live in Philly.

Since the whole process is rather undefined it is hard to say exactly how it would work, but since it is an undefined 50% reduction in life on the planet and not each life form on the planet has a 50% chance of dying or each species is reduced by 50%, then yes it would be improbably for a large number of humans to get dusted given the fraction of a percent of all life on the plane they represent.

If it was 50% of all life then even a single human getting dusted is statistically unlikely.

I repeatedly have dreams where I'm back in school, its almost the end of the year and I realize there is some class that I've never gone to and I'm wandering around trying to find the classroom.

I also have dreams where I'm driving a car but I'm in the backseat for some reason and I can't reach the brakes. I mean, I can't reach anything else either, but it is always specifically the brakes that I'm concerned about.

I've seen other places with that, so it isn't really new. It is a spin on chicken and waffles.

Beards seemed to have been a very short trend in the presidency. Going through the presidential portraits, Lincoln was the first with a beard and then you've got Grant, Hayes, Garfield and Arthur all in short order after that with beards. A brief gap with Grover Cleveland then Benjamin Harrison as the last beared president.

So really all of our bearded presidents were in a span of 30 or so years.

No. The Boy Scouts of America and the Girl Scouts of America are two separate organizations with their own ranks, awards, standards, and ideology but their history is a bit connected. This is just for the United States though. Most other Scouting programs in other countries are combined and co-ed.

I do find it unfortunate that the actions and inactions of those involved yay back may have a negative effect on the Scouts of today. I take an online Youth Protection course every year as a Scout volunteer and the online Safes Sports course when I certified as an archery instructor. According to the courses, incidents usually goes unreported because the families and units involved did not want to cause a scene or think they might make a mistake and ruin someone's life over an allegation.

I do not recall when the BSA started doing background checks on adult volunteers but I can very well imagine a Scout leader yay back getting caught, possibly not arrested but kicked out of the unit, moving elsewhere, and joining a new unit who has no idea what he has done with the previous unit. And now those youths are at risk because of the lack of protection back then.

Unfortunately, much like the Catholic church, there was a lot of high level involvement in keeping these incidents quite in an effort to protect the reputation of the Boy Scouts.

"This decision is consistent with Boy Scouts history of protecting sexually abusive scout leaders, as documented in thousands of BSAs Ineligible Volunteer or Perversion files. In 2012, a court order unsealed hundreds of files created between 1960 and 1985, revealing allegations of child sexual abuse by adult leaders that resulted in BSA removing the leader from Scouting, but doing nothing else.

Holy shit

this game is fun as fuck. Ive never played any sniper elite games before and dont know anything about them. Ive always assumed it was just some generic WW2 shooter and never aged the series any mind

I only played this one because there was a quest thing or whatever on Xbox game pass to get 10 ghost kills now Im hooked though. In a lot of ways the gameplay reminds me of MGSV just with more emphasis on sniping and killing enemies from super far away

Huh, I saw that quest and just kind of wrote it off like the Goat Simulator one but maybe I'll give it a try.

I'm kind of even on the first two games and Shadow was the weakest for me.

There is a place near us called the Lash Lounge, and the first thing that came to mind was not the correct answer.

I think with that many people involved and another solo person it wouldn't be that weird to go.

The steel structure of the building is almost certainly strong enough, but all of the exterior isn't structural so I'm fairly sure he wouldn't have been able to climb it without destroying the facade.

I still reference a lot of 3.5 terms since that is the system I played the most time under. Still my favorite rule set for character creation.
