I was lucky that I got mine cut right before quarantine started, but it is starting to get to a length that is annoying now.

I ordered something from them that was in stock and Prime eligible at the end of March that didn't ship until the end of April since it wasn't an essential item.

It was also a 5 year deal, so the original deal is close to ending.

Pretty much every country on that list has their own vaccines in trials and some companies are already producing it ahead of the trials, so nobody is going to have that much of a head start as to make a real difference.

I basically have infinite time off as my boss doesn't really care when / if I take time off.

This year is going to be a mess for time off at my work. Everyone is cancelling their plans so we are going to have a ton of people trying to burn vacation time before they lose it at the end of the year. I'm really hoping they either allow more rollover this year or offer some kind of buy back.

I don't get the trend to make things set in the 80s and 90s. What a boring setting. It's very rare that the time setting is even used for anything at all other that "just because" (see: Joker, Fresh off the Boat, Goldbergs).

The Goldbergs is set in the 80's because that is when they guy that created the show grew up and it's about his childhood.

I get that a sizable chunk of his base will only listen to what he says and not anyone else, but the least he could do is get an actual scientist or doctor to write out a script for him so he could give advice to them rather than bungling it himself.

Huge parks with big hulking rides are some of my favorites. Great Adventure, Hershey, Cedar Point, Kings Dominion, etc.

But my favorite park is Knoebels and my favorite coaster is Phoenix.

I love Hershey but you can tell it has grown way outside of what they originally planned for.

Since police cruisers are based on commercial models and old cars are frequently auctioned off, it really isn't that hard to make a decent fake car.

Where were you in the US? It is kind of a big country and I can tell you the air in some parts smells a lot different that others. NYC for example, does not smell sweet...

I am guilty of going to microcenter a couple days ago. Didn't think much of it, but the store was packed and I felt like an asshole.

Not for my sake, just the employees. I work at a counter at a deli and am constantly in contact with random people anyway.

You can actually go inside stores in your area? Around here to get stuff from someplace like Best Buy you have to buy online and then do curbside pickup.
