Just recently got into cast iron, so I'm using coconut oil to season my skillet. Smells great, and ham slices are not sticking, haven't tried eggs on cast iron since my first disaster.

Early 70s, thank you! And in better physical condition that I was at age 30.

And grandma isn't visiting anyone right now, but with 5 probables out of 5 million within 200 miles, my chances of winning big in the lottery are a lot higher than the chances of being exposed. Haven't been to the Orient in 17 years, haven't kissed anyone who has travelled out of the country recently. A lot of my grad assistants are international students, but I don't kiss them, either. Moot since the campus is shut down for a month, anyway.

Forza Horizon 4 has a battle royale mode? How does that work?

72 players, free roam, start in Mini-Coopers, find faster cars, players challenge each other to 1-on-1 races, loser is eliminated (winner can take loser's car or upgrade their own), arena shrinks, players caught outside arena are eliminated, after final arena shrinkage when 10-20 cars are left, race to the final goal. Rank for sequence eliminated or position finishing final race.

Modern multiplayer games make me feel young.

I'm 73, never had much use for multiplayer, the closest I came was setting up three computers in a 10 Base T network in my basement in 1994 for DOOM. But now Monster Hunter and Forza Motorsport/Forza Horizon have me playing daily online. Including the new Battle Royale mode in FH4.

In Wuhan, the original center of infection, 80,000 were infected of a population of 11 million. That's 0.7%. Of that, 70,000 have recovered, 3000 died.

In comparison, the CDC estimates 5-20% of the US population contracts flu yearly, with 200,000 hospitalizations and 12-18,000 deaths.

Light in comparison with dark. We know that dark is heavier than light, because it settles in corners, in cracks, under things, and, of course, in caves and at the bottom of the ocean. I believe I said intelligent use of vaccine and "universal" yearly flu shots for adults. At risk for dying from flu? Okay, probably worth the risk. Normal healthy adult, 2 chances in a million vaccine doses of life-threatening side effects, yearly from age 30-70, is 80 chances in a million, still miniscule except to the unlucky losers of that lottery.

My chances of being bitten by an alligator in an Iowa cornfield are higher than my chances of Coronavirus. I haven't been to China in the last 17 years, or kissed anyone who has, nor have I been in a close environment on a cruise ship with anyone who has.

But, just to be safe, I'm scanning the news for alligator sightings in Iowa in the Winter. If so, maybe a painter's dust mask will deter alligators.
