Lol did we all lose? I had some good opponents, my opponents definitely mained their characters. Mario is really good in this format, you just ban fd and ps1 and bam you have tri plats. Granted Falcon benefits from this as well, but Mario much more so. I lost to a good Bowser 2-1, I hate losing that MU because I know Falcon wins. Sucks that jab is near useless outside of jab lock scenarios due to Bowser's Tough Guy static ability since I like to abuse Falcon jab a lot

Havent played in a while, but yes the buffering in particular is awful. The game feels terrible when you play something else with good response time.

This is one of the reasons I vastly prefer Melee. I'm just a mid level player in that game as well, and even though it can make certain frame perfect actions difficult to perform, there being no buffer for 99% of actions makes it feel more like your mistakes are your own and can be rectified through practice. I recognize the buffer system makes many actions easier to perform, including frame perfect combos made more consistent with attack canceling which only exists because of the buffer system, but too often I find myself dying to misinputs because of the buffer. Honestly it is something you can adapt to, when I'm playing good it doesn't effect me much, maybe because on that particular day I have a better feel for timing inputs so as to not be screwed over by the buffer system.

you do really well against my Wolf and the Joker I played today. Falcon is definitely nerfed online, there's no doubt about it. He definitely gets dumpstered by the likes of ZSS, Inkling, Pika, Palu, etc.

I only fully believe something if I see it's reported by multiple sources. Granted I don't triple check all or even most things I see and hear, so there are many things I don't fully believe.

Eh, Wolf is combo food and easily edgeguarded, and he can't edgeguard under 99% of circumstances. I'm sure he wins offline for various reasons but online I'm not so sure.

Ggs, I wanted to try to beat your ZSS streak but if you're not feeling it anymore it's fine. I honestly have no idea wtf to do against that character, it feels like oftentimes I just die too early. She's too slippery to knee for me, might have to learn single hit nair to knee percents or something. Can't really edgeguard her well either, and she can edgeguard me very easily. Funny too how much you hate spikes but ZSS is really good at it lol. You used it a few times which is good to see, you were never really doing it before. The dair spike is brutal when you're up 2 stocks to 1.

If all you do is talk about an issue, not donating or participating in a movement, I don't see how you can say you actually care. It's not like you're going to convince any bigoted hateful fellows on here to change their views (though if you did, that would definitely count as meaningful support. Not gonna happen, though). Meh, get off your high horse. There are plenty of very good causes I'm sure you're indifferent to, or at least don't have the mind to support. After all, there are so many good causes it would be impossible to care about them all. Sure, transphobia is very often discussed, much more than some things. But I honestly never think about it unless I see it in media or discussion on here. I just have no reason to care about it one way or another. And when I do see it mentioned like in this topic, the extent of my feelings are, "yeah that sucks they're treated so horribly," which I'm sure applies to many if not most people. To me that qualifies as indifference, but there's nothing wrong with that. It's not reprehensible, you can't have strong feelings about everything.

It's not that they didn't say anything. On the contrary, they very openly supported the protests while condemning other forms of gathering. Not that that really makes much sense. If the protesters wore masks and distanced 6 feet apart I could see the logic.

I mean, it would be considered incredibly weak even during Yugioh's advent. Gets run over by Baby Dragon for two full turns before becoming a vanilla beatstick with no protection? Also, it's very poor design that you can tribute it immediately after gaining 2000 attack for a monster with 4000 attack since there's probably no situation where you wouldn't want to do it. Maybe if it was spell speed 2, at least then it would also have some targeted destruction protection. Even with that though it would still be a bad card.

I have both Pokemon Stadiums on my list because I spent a lot of time competing with my brother in the mini game mode which is vastly different. The different battle mechanics and metas also mean Pokemon Stadium 1 is fun to battle on in its own way, though as a kid I thought Pokemon Stadium 2 was strictly better for that

Was it really necessary, though? I get that it adds a layer of complexity in some cases that would otherwise be absent or at least lacking. But what about the Chimera Arc is so different that it requires that amount of narration and explanation? Is it that the characters themselves would explain things in the other arcs and they simply relegated that role to the narrator, having the characters in the Chimera arc not explain much?
