Over the course of these games I realized how broken their up air is. Everyone talks about up throw to up air percents and how at what percent it's guaranteed and blah blah...the move is broken by itself. If I get you above me and read your DI or predict a high recovery or whatever, I can just throw it out, if you're above 100% you're probably dead if I hit you and the move is almost lagless. There were even times I was being juggled and just fast fall up aired to kill out of disadvantage. It might be the best up air in the game

Pikachu feels so weird to use plus pika's combo game isn't anywhere near as satisfying as Pichu's.

Maybe Pichu's combo game is better against certain characters, maybe that's why Maister thinks Pichu does better vs G&W?

iirc maister has some unusual views on some of the characters. he said jigglypuff is high tier.

Interesting since he thinks G&W crushes Puff, though the two opinions can be mutually exclusive. Puff is probably a good counterpick character since she crushes some match ups and gets dominated in others, but high tier? Lots of people don't even think she's mid tier (I do, but that's beside the point)

Thanks, probably all the Falcon. I keep having to stop myself from up bing when I see people shielding right next to me lmao. I guess Inkling doesn't have a go to out of shield option like that, I think I've just been jumping, rolling, or drop shield dash away

I love being able to dash dance and having a good recovery and an actually safe edgeguard game and a decent projectile.

I think the only thing I don't like about Inkling is how trash their dair is for spiking, or it's at least very difficult to pull off consistently.

How useful is nair? I feel like I miss it a lot. I heard it's decent for escaping combos because it's like frame 5 but it seems very situational for comboing and approaching

You know how in between elite smash battles, you're put in that lab room where you can mess around with the computer player? I wish you could do that in an arena too.

Honestly I definitely recognize that I'm a full level below a lot of these tourney grinders. They probably know exactly what to look for at every percent and seem to know what I'm looking for as well. Granted I haven't labbed out things nearly as much as I should, and I often go for things that actually have no chance of working because I'm not always paying attention to percent
