no a proper remaster of WC3 would have been neat.

Probably still a bit unnecessary as their ignored the previous games in the series existence but still something people would enjoy if done properly.

But Blizzard philosophy used to be they'd release stuff "when its ready"...this is about as far a cry away from that as they've ever been.

Oh, and that doesn't just fuck over people trying to have fun. People tend to play a single race. The races are very different and you can be amazing with one race and absolutely poop with the other. So you'd make a second account to learn Human and leave your main say Undead account that was high up the ladder alone so you could learn.

Now players that want to learn a new race are just going to have to get destroyed to reach a low enough point they can play casually enough to learn a new race.

Basically Blizzard discounted the idea that their might be people that wanted to play WC3 for the first time here.

oh, and one of the joys of multiplayer on the original WC3 was being able to use multiple accounts to have a different ladder level with differing strats(AKA dumb strats like tower rushing).

You are now locked into a single account(Ladder doesnt exist yet lol, but it will soon and locks you to playing under your single BNet ID). So now playing for fun will go on your permanent record.

Can you still run warcraft 3 if you have the original pre battlenet exe? I know you cant run it for online multi but can you still run LAN that way?

You have to manually install and find ways to manually patch.

Even then I believe you can only play offline.

So I got curious and tried to play on my original WC3 install. The game was 1.8GB.

It now doesn't want to let me play without a 29.5GB install.

You must have severely rushed XV if it only took you 10-15 hours.

It probably took more like 18-20, but did a whole bunch of sidequests/fishing. There also wasn't proper warning for a point of no return and the game didn't feel like it was nearly over at that point, so it essentially stole away a bunch of time I might have devoted to playing it. But ignoring sidequests and considering how easy most of the main storyline is, it definitely isn't that long of a game.

70 is old.
life expectancy for men and women will differ sure though it's consistently 3-5 years. current stats are men at 76, women at 81. neither stat is assuming taking on what would be one of the most stressful jobs for any of the three old candidates considering we've seen how fast that ages people.

If you are 70 and healthy you have a far greater chance of making it to 78 than you have of making it to 87 if you are 79 and healthy.

It is a significant difference between the two. Age is cruel but it is a very real thing.

Ben started completely outside his box and then recently unless I missed something I think hes basically been inactive.

MI thinks I'm scum pretty much every damn game.

I would fairly safely say at least 1 of the two is scum(Its possible both but I never bank on something like this early).

Town Scare should be a lot more fearful of coming after me because he knows if he mislynches me I'm going to chastize him for it again in postgame and his posts and reasoning have honestly been garbage(The range has basically been MI parrot, Dismissive, lies).

I think Scare is more likely of the two to be scum.
