Yooka-Laylee 2 and Ring Fit Adventure set a tournament record for longest match in history, clocking in at 96 hours. After day 1, Ring Fit secured the final vote to tie the match at 9-9. After day 2, Yooka-Laylee 2 would grab the last vote and tie things up 21-21. In day 3, it looked like Yooka-Laylee 2 had it, but Ring Fit would get one last vote to tie things up 38-38. In the first ever triple overtime match, neither game had anything bigger than a 3-vote lead, and it looked on many occasions that Ring Fit would become the first 15 seed to reach the Elite Eight, breaking Goat Simulator's record set in 2014 as a 14 seed in the Elite Eight. However, a vote in the final 10 seconds sends Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair to the Elite Eight with a final overall score of 60-59. Yooka-Laylee 2 will face AI: The Somnium Files next week for a spot in the Final Four.
