yeah but I mentioned this early, we cant have flavor assassins every game(or even all that often) or we will get in a situation where we just stop playing with flavor. The flavor will be there but literally no one will even mention it.

The turnout is...not surprising. The democratic party is full of pessimism and Bernie is not an Obama-level speaker that is going to excite a large group. If he were 20 years older I'm sure he could be a bit more upbeat but to the general public he definitely looks and comes off as, well, old. People don't get excited for old people.

And it should definitely be noted Russia is still doing a lot to drive up the seedier idiots of Bernie's base to turn off potential voters. Their interference on all sides of the Democratic party is very real. They want division and a Trump re-election.

Unfortunately, his re-election is more than probable simply due to the state of the economy. I still think its an easy call to say Trump loses the popular vote by even more this time but scores an electoral college victory.

I mean, it is an unfortunate fact, but a portion of Biden's appeal to me(And I'm going to stress, I'm probably not voting for Biden) is that hes not a woman, not gay, and not Jewish.

Unfortunately there are absolutely some swing voters where any one of those issues absolutely will be a determining factor in their vote. People are jerks.

I suppose I should also asterisk here, none of the candidates have the charisma of Obama. I am fully prepared to vote Obama in 2024 when Trump runs for a third term.

Bernie doesn't talk a lot about being Jewish(He does occasionally, but definitely not often) and you almost never hear Buttigieg mention being gay.

Both are very aware of what audiences they are speaking to and at what times.

There's also the part where in 2016 Russia had operatives pose as bitter never-Hillary Bernie supporters in order to drive a wedge between the wings of the party. A lot of the "bernie bro" stereotypes came from those interactions.

The problem with this is people see these bots and DO imitate them. We've seen it with Trump supporters and some Bernie supporters.

If there is a criticism to be had of Bernie, its definitely that he, like Trump, never really acknowledges these supporters and kind of lets them fester because he wants their vote.
