Games I have completed and know very well: Ocarina, Majora, Waker, Minish, Twilight, Between Worlds, and Breath.

Then there's some others that I've played but they never stuck with me. Oracles, played both but can't remember to what extent. Hourglass, finished but did not like. Link to Past... is the weird one, it's probably my favorite game that I've never beaten personally, got halfway once.

Also Hyrule Warriors and Master Quest. So yeah I voted 10-15 and that sounds about right.

It was a really fun adventure action scene in space, like what Star Wars was made for. Knowing that it all works out okay isn't a big deal to me, I enjoy the journey even though we've already seen the destination.

I find it similar to rewatching movies, you already know how it's gonna end but you still enjoy seeing how everything unfolds again for whatever reasons.

Although it was stupid how he wasn't already named Han Solo, like how did he make it that far without his last name ever being brought up

Solo would've been better if the main character wasn't Han Solo. The actor could not channel Harrison Ford's version of the character whatsoever, and it made the movie less enjoyable for me because the difference was so jarring.

I don't agree. I think he captured a young Han very well. It's easy to imagine that he learned to be more like the Harrison Ford version as he grew up. In fact I think he grows into that version a little throughout the movie.

Especially at the end, since he shoots first, that is Han Solo.

Honestly I could see them holding off on FFXVI for a long time now that they can just remake the old ones. That's a much safer path to take.

I mean, they can't actually keep making final fantasies forever... there has to be a final final fantasy eventually right?

If you don't like exploring, then you probably don't like BotW. The world is a dream for anyone who enjoys wandering around in nature - which is what the original idea of this series is based on. BotW takes that original idea and elevates it to the level it's meant to be at. It's a perfect modern representation of what the Legend of Zelda is.

I just want a new Rogue Squadron type of game. Why is that too much to ask for

KotOR, Rogue Squadron 2, and Jedi Fallen Order. One of those is my favorite depends on the day

though I have no way of playing RS which is quite honestly a travesty

The idea that TLJ is "hated" is weird. It has a huge number of fans and was critically praised. It's divisive, sure, but no worse than that.

And yet, Disney buckled under all the negativity towards it and that's why we got Rise of Skywalker

Yeah there's tons of people who loved Last Jedi, but negativity is a whole lot more vocal. We got tired of trying to defend the movie against the unrelenting hatred. It's exhausting and we have better things to do with our lives than argue about Star Wars bc my god it's just not worth it

Solo is a great movie and I don't understand the hate it gets. The hate for Last Jedi makes sense but Solo is very inoffensive and is just a simple adventure movie in space. It's fun. And the actor who plays young Han is actually really good at playing a young version of Han, he's charming and funny.

Last Jedi, Rogue One and Solo are easily the best of the new movies. They are the ones I will rewatch repeatedly. Force Awakens is good too I could watch again. For Rise of Skywalker once was enough, there isn't anything in that movie that I didn't get out of the first viewing.

Oh my bad I mistakenly thought you posted the original comment about the prequels being creative/imaginative, oops. My reading comprehension failed hard.

It really does come down to preference, the more I think about it the less I can actually fault people for preferring the prequels. I mean they are still enjoyable in their own way, I can still go back and watch them every once in a while just for the comfort they provide. I don't get that from the new movies, and I don't see myself ever watching Rise of Skywalker again.

But the first two movies in the trilogy are still pretty good and I love Kylo Ren so I'm firm in my ST > PT stance.

ending notes: I laughed for a good few minutes at Ben's death scene. Will say though the ending was a nice closer at least.

It was better in theaters after the kiss there were some fangirls nearby that squealed, and then immediately groaned in dismay as their ship sank. That was the best laugh I got out of the movie.

Seems like they're all kinda scarred by the whole fiasco. Then again I guess that's what Star Wars does to its actors. Kelly Marie Tran got the worst of it I think.

Also I remember hearing Adam Driver accepted the role on the condition that Kylo Ren's character arc wouldn't be another Darth Vader. Welp.

Because nostalgia is easy money and Kylo staying bad would have been too risky

Even though they literally had nothing to lose. They should have just gone all risk at that point and it would have turned out better. Instead they backtracked and made a much worse movie, also retroactively making the entire trilogy pretty bad overall. It's sad. Especially since Kylo deserved so so much better as he was easily the best character and his conclusion felt super cheap.

Not sure this is true. I see a lot of super fans who love the new games. While it's mostly the more sensible types, the "been with pokemon since childhood and now I'm 30 and just want to see new ideas instead of the same formula gradually getting worse" fans who are clearly displeased with the direction the recent games have taken.

Started getting into first person shooters after well over a decade of not liking them.

Also finally gave Battlefront 2 a chance. Having a blast with co-op mode since it's more similar to OG Battlefront 2.

HGSS are remakes of games that practically all Pokemon fans loved.

Sun/Moon and Sword/Shield are very divisive and no they would have even less of a chance at winning. They wouldn't even have made it this far.

I have a very slight amount of faith in EA nowadays, it seems they have mostly learned their lesson. Or at least they are doing a decent enough job of acting like it. They can't easily pull any of the bullshit they did before bc they know now that there will be backlash and it will cost them.

I ain't arguing genres, Sekiro is a souls game cuz all games made by FromSoft are Souls

I will admit that parry porn is highly arousing to me, but you can play the game in different ways. Skills and prosthetic tools provide some unique and fun alternatives to combat. However yeah learning the parry timing is still the most efficient method but I dig it. Feels good every time and the clang sound effect is music to my ears.

Oh please let those remake rumors be true. I been wishing for just a remaster of Demon's Souls, if we get a legit remake it could become my favorite of them all.

And I realize now why I currently slightly favor Sekiro over Bloodborne even though the latter is an overall better game for several reasons. Sekiro's controls are just so damn smooth. And it stands out to me since Jedi Fallen Order copies the same combat system without also copying the polish. I mean I love that game but it's sluggish compared to Sekiro.

If Bloodborne was released now with said mastery over the smooth controls it would be an 11/10 game instead of just a measly 10/10 game

I would like to clarify that Dark Souls 2 is fantastic, while Scholar of the First Sin is a mess. Some parts are improved while other parts are wildly unimproved.

I'm sorry to be the guy to set you off but I might honestly prefer Sekiro over all of them... but since you don't consider it to be a part of this discussion I voted Bloodborne!

Fast paced action is more enjoyable and the trick weapons are super creative and unique. Much prefer the quality over quantity approach.

Sekiro is slightly better though and is a souls game fight me

Yeah a closer bonfire would have fixed a lot. A big reason why everyone hates the guy is bc you have a 90% chance of getting dead at least once and then have to embark on another journey to Mordor all over again.

Of all the post-O&S places, Lost Izalith is really the only one that I think is bad. But even still, its aesthetic design works well.

Its aesthetic would be better if the lava brightness was set lower than sun-level

A worse design is Royal Rat Authority. Thankfully it's tucked away in a corner that's tough to find and you have absolutely no reason to kill the thing anyway. Unless you're one of the weirdos that likes to acid surge people's equipment.

Unlike Bed of Chaos which is required to beat the game so yeah fuck that noise worst boss hands down

All lightsaber colors from the start, including red along with Cal's Inquisitor outfit. Still can't skip cutscenes though and they haven't figured out how to improve load times even slightly.

But hey I finally got all the colors so I'm happy

edit: and added some type of survival challenge mode though I have yet to check it out

Maneater is the only game that has my immediate interest. Maybe Xenoblade later down the road.

YYH is only 112 episodes which isn't too long for an anime. It's also got the best english dub, still amazes me how good it is.
