I had faith in Bloodborne, it's just too good to lose this soon.

Granted I had too much faith in all From Software games as I had Sekiro going to its division finals. And Dark Souls all the way to the final round against BotW.

I had the same predicament. The one good thing about the quarantine is I have plenty of time to play both games. I start with Royal in the morning and then halfway through the day switch to Remake.

Similarly had the same concerns about never going back to Persona since I did the same with vanilla, got to near the end, spent an hour on a boss fight just for him to beat me with one hit left... so I never went back. Royal has been a much more enjoyable experience overall though.

Still early in Royal but I can already say with confidence that Kasumi is best. Better than all the vanilla girls including Makoto.

As someone who didn't play FF7 until he was 18 (and loved it), I am super stoked for this game. The demo was fun as hell, action RPGs are my jam.

best boss fights

No MGS3 has best boss fights, The End alone is better than all the bosses in the first game. Final fight with The Boss is also leagues more interesting and memorable than Liquid's little fisticuffs duel.

3 is actually better in every other way as well. Best story, best characters (Big Boss is cooler than Solid Snake, etc.) and most fun ways to utilize its mechanics. The freedom it gives you to mess around is unreal.

Well heck, this doesn't sound like fun times. How long a quarantine is long enough seems to be something nations are struggling with. Relax too soon, and it's another wave of virus to endure.

Right wouldn't a full lockdown only work if the entire world did it at the same time? Otherwise the virus will still be shuffling around in other places and will simply make its way back.

4 has some better moments overall, like the bosses (I enjoy Raging Raven but fuck Screaming Mantis) and environment of decrepit Shadow Moses is enough to carry the game -- though I'm a sucker for snow/ice levels.

Don't actually care as much for deserts either... but yeah I still prefer MGS5. The gameplay is just so smooth.

Going back to previous games, even my favorite 3, has proven to be a challenge bc the controls don't feel as nice.

But 4 obviously has better story and payoffs. If only it had more gameplay.

Watched it last week, I enjoyed it. The animation style impressed me in a lot of ways (water looks amazing), but takes away in other aspects. For instance Mew doesn't look as cute. The fight scenes and attack effects look pretty cool.

I mean I don't believe they are prophetic in any real way, but they certainly tell you something about yourself. Whether it's important or not is up to the individual. If you want your dream to mean something then it will, if not then you'll probably learn what you need to learn in another way regardless.

Hmm my gut pick actually had Witcher going out to Mario Galaxy 2. Now I could see it going to the finals but then I would have it up against RDR2 which practically everyone seems to love so I assumed it was the safe pick.

I have yet to play Witcher and didn't care for RDR2 so I'm not sure how much strength either have.

This is mostly where I stand on it now. I worry that I'd pass on my mental issues and my kid would grow up depressed, which would then make me feel even worse about myself.

This world is just too shitty now, bringing a new life into it seems cruel to me. And it's not like there's a shortage of kids so there's no pressure to have any of my own. If anything I'd feel better about adopting.

Yeah I think that's why 17 seems stronger than he should be. He actually uses strategy to fight, plans his attacks and takes advantage of openings. While everyone else is button mashing.
