first of all, [citation needed]

no amount of whining about the US justifies that
framing my questions and criticism of the US as "whining" is disingenuous and inaccurate. please address it accurately

when there are plenty of countries that have the problems of neither.
you are missing the point so spectacularly here that it's probably intentional

I don't live in or care about the US situation. It's not relevant to the issues with every socialist country. And it's not an example of a successful welfare state capitalist country which is why I never mentioned it. You tell me what's great about the PRC, North Korea, etc. I'll let your attempted defense of those regimes speak for itself.
it's fine if you don't care about the US situation. but you didn't even attempt to answer my other question

Since welfare state capitalism like you see on Nordic countries addresses the concerns socialists claim to have about workers rights, inequality, etc.
the "workers rights" concerns are not addressable under capitalism, and addressing "inequality" is not actually a relevant part of socialist thought; reduced inequality is more a side effect of the economic system rather than an actual focus

whereas every socialist country is objectively a terrible place to live (which makes them either not true socialism, or secretly a good place to live depending on which group you ask), there is no reason to support socialism.
which issues that are present in "socialist countries" make them "objectively a terrible place to live"? are those issues not also present in the US?

So let me ask you this. When you're about to deed, do you look up average or okay looking people to deed to? Do you settle? Of course not. You want to see exactly what you like and how you like it.

It's the same for them. Tinder is to them what browsing porn is to you.

I am actually liberal. By any metric I am so. Any of those where do you rate politically type tests I am always rated as left wing every single time. Yet according to this site I am an alt right racist homophobic mysogonistic transphobe.
liberals are generally not left-wing and political tests all have some identity politics bullshit questions that don't actually have a significant effect on your overall politics.

another issue is that a lot of people seem to think that social politics are separable from economic politics. they are not.

for example, a lot of people pay lip service to the queer community by saying they support "gay rights" or "gay marriage" while not supporting policy that would be disproportionately beneficial to them -- queer people are disproportionately low-income, so policies that benefit poor people (universal healthcare, education, housing, etc) also have a significant effect on the queer community.

which views do you have that you think are left-wing? which views do you have that have gotten you labeled as "an alt right racist homophobic mysogonistic transphobe"?

And then theres the matter of criminal liability. For many low-level crimes, prosecutors have to prove that a defendant should have known a crime was taking place. If a renter deals drugs out of her apartment, her landlord can be prosecuted. If you loan your friend your car and he commits a murder while driving it, you can be charged with murder, too. For executive-level crimes, however, the bar of criminal liability is set impossibly high: Prosecutors have to prove that defendants knew their actions were illegal and did them anyway. This myopic focus on intent means that white-collar trials often come down to the question of whether the defendant was the kind of person who would commit a criminal act.

Even though auditing millionaires and billionaires is one of the most cost-effective government activities imaginablean independent report estimated in 2014 that it yielded up to $4,545 in recovered revenue per hour of staff timethe IRS investigated the returns of just 3 percent of American millionaires in 2017.

The primary beneficiaries of this shift are American elites. Rich people generate mountains of financial data. Millionaires can have over 100 bank accounts; billionaires tax returns run to 800 pages long. For people who earn most of their income from working (i.e. almost everyone), the IRS has an automatic system that compares individuals reports to the records submitted by their employers and banks. For the wealthy, who make much of their income from interest and investments, the agency has nothing to compare their reports against. The only way to tell if a rich person is cheating on their taxes is to sit down and go through them line by line.

Lets say you get a tip that some billionaire is hiding a bunch of money offshore and not paying taxes on it, said Arthur VanDesande, who spent 25 years as a criminal investigator for the IRS. And you manage to narrow the tax evasion down to 20 of his bank accounts. OK, now you have to prepare 20 subpoenas, get them signed by a judge and deliver them to the banks. But when you go to Bank of America, they say, We dont accept subpoenas at this location, you have to go to our authorized representative in Orlando. So then you go to Orlando and and you find out the money is linked to an offshore account. So then you have to write to the embassy...

Due to the IRS' lean resources, VanDesande did most of this legwork himself. You type your own shit, you make your own copies, you write every single affidavit. Sometimes you feel like, Im a senior-level person with a college degree. Why am I calling Wells Fargo and sitting on hold for 45 minutes?

extremely good economic system. extremely good

people pointing out problems with china (and I use "pointing out" in the most generous possible sense. they were merely pointing out that there are problems with china, not stating explicitly what they are) was in response to me pointing out, correctly, that China is doing a good job of containing the virus and that people are being xenophobic in spite of that.

Right, he just randomly decided to defend China by pointing out one city in the US doesn't have safe drinking water when the entire country of China doesn't have it. He literally knows nothing about China but feels compelled to defend it because their government claims to be communist. If you put some fascists in red clothing he just can't help himself, reality be damned. China manages to have worse income inequality than the US and he doesn't care at all because it's a fashion statement to him, not an actual ideal.
