Yeah, I live in northern VA which is heavily suburbanized and full of traffic but still has plenty of back roads. If I lived in DC, however, I might not even bother owning a car. Fuck that noise lol

It was basically privatized universal care, which was a bad thing since costs to the consumer went up and there was no price limits, only the guarantee that preexisting conditions were no longer a factor in denying coverage (but still affected how much you paid for premiums)

plus the Supreme Court struck down the individual mandate, so suddenly people started opting out of insurance at all, legally. insurance, being a risk pool, reduces costs the most by having more participants. so, yeah, we're right back where we started, except the preexisting conditions part, which will only make insurance more expensive the less that people sign on

in other words: eliminate private insurance and create one large program that covers everyone, with price ceilings, otherwise enjoy paying out the nose for health care for eternity

It's funny how maniacs like this get offended if you say their political ideology is racist but they do everything in their power to tell you they're racist anyway. Look at his bumper stickers, they're mostly political, until you see the "south of the border" one. There's nothing political about it, it's just one of those offensive stereotypes for mexicans (lazy dude sleeping with a blanket and a sombrero, taco bell-like font, etc), mixed with their political ideology stickers.. voila! it's a pretty famous roadside stop on I-95 that you see billboards for long before you ever get there. it's dated for sure and contains offensive stereotypes, but it's one of those more "accidentally racist" places that date back decades rather than a full-blown "Mexicans are lazy" thing. I've been there before, it's actually really lame and I'm surprised it's still open

Get a water pick. It's meant for your teeth, but work perfectly for cleaning an earwax impaction.

This is what I do. Even without the hydrogen peroxide, it removes a ton of shit. You don't stick it all the way in and leave it on the lowest setting and it just acts like an ear flushing machine.

(good for your teeth too, but use a different tip for that lol)
