As for Batwoman, the Arrowverse is getting way out of hand now. For someone brand new to any of it, they'd now have to watch the following: Arrow, Flash, Legends of Tomorrow, Supergirl, Black Lightning (maybe not completely) and now Batwoman who's already recasting the lead role after one season. Five of these six shows are still ongoing. I stuck to the first 3 mentioned, because by the time I got to Supergirl, I was burned out on Arrowverse, not to mention it stopped being good after one season.

It's not necessary to watch all of the Arrowverse shows, they all run independently of each other outside of the crossover (moreso the last three shows). Even in the crossovers you aren't too lost, it's like watching the Avengers movies without watching the other MCU movies.

Tekken 7 > Mortal Kombat 11 isn't that crazy. Among fighting fans that's the result I would expect. Of course, this is GameFAQs where fighting games are weak so it's not impossible that Mortal Kombat would "name recognition" its way to victory.

Took a quick look at the Board Wiki, the series/game with a worse winless record than TWEWY is Zero Wing thanks to CATS' 0-9 record

Also beating TWEWY is Silent Hill who is 0-8 due to its series (0-1), Silent Hill 2 (0-3), Pyramid Head (0-3) and James Sunderland (0-1).

Never win a match eliminates most series/games. At best you can find an option that's had 1 or 2 appearances and was unlucky to face a strong opponent during the first round.

In terms of having the worst record without a win, The World Ends With You comes to mind. It's 0-7 between the game and two characters which appeared in GameFAQs contests, plus Sho lost in the vote-in for the 2010 contest

It annoys me that Ulti goes on about these games like they're the WORST GAMES EVER or something when it's more like the games he likes the least but whatever, it's his topic and he can write whatever he wants. Still jarring when he gets so vocal about it but oh well I guess.

I mean that's true for everyone that claims a game to be the worst game ever. There are so many games that are released that almost no one has played that can barely run without crashing every few minutes.

Knowing Ulti for a long enough time I can tell you to not pay too much attention on what he dislikes as they can be quite hit or miss. On the flip side if he claims a game is good he's most likely right.

Fire Emblem was always a bit niche to me and this is coming from a person that's been a fan of the series. Sure the series has boosted since Awakening, but any series would have boosted if their original sales were a few hundred thousand copies.

I went with Xenoblade > 3 Houses because I felt the former would pull rank, not to mention the game/series is much more respected and liked relative to 2015.

Too bad I went with P4G > Xenoblade for the division final, would have gotten the division perfect otherwise.

One reason state/provincial level doctors appear to be "wishy-washy" is that their recommendations come with the caveat of "as long as you maintain social distancing" or "they aren't 100% effective" and the general public (or enough of them) ignores that part which forces them to take a stronger/more restrictive approach.

We essentially have the trolley problem, but we don't know which track has more people. In the end we'll get a somewhat compromise where some people will die from the virus while others will die due to the resulting depression. We just have to hope the policy makers put us on the track that's less than the two extreme scenarios (establish herd immunity or extreme global depression)

I could see systems having a nomination system. For year there were 32 years and vote-ins for the pre-1985 ones. For systems there are a lot more, though I guess he could do vote-ins as well.

I wouldn't consider Borderlands 2 a huge bust, but relative to the other games in that year I would agree it was the second least impressive entrant relative to pre-contest expectation.

There was too much competition for Pokemon and no single game that was the clear favourite. Over the last generation there were four new generations while generations 1-3 all had a remake/reimagining. Throw in Black/White's sequel and Pokemon Go who likely got some nominations due to its significance during the decade and we have nine games plus all the other spin-offs the series has produced.

In contrast the 00s only had three new generations and a remake (along with its own boatload of spin-off games).

The more impressive thing was that HG/SS got a three seed. Either there was some nomination rallying going on outside the board or SBAllen saw Pokemon's struggles and decided to give the most nominated game a seeding boost.

Also the 90's are top heavy. They rule the roost then drop off hard. But I'd love to see Game of the 90's, and I like the idea of taking the top 40 from each decade that got a contest, and the 8 80's games that made it to the second round in 2009, and doing an all-star Best Game Ever bracket.

My idea was to have 32 games each from the 90s, 00s and 10s, 16 games for the 70s/80s and the final 16 games being from the 20s (since I feel the earliest we would see a games contest would be 2022). Of course even with 16 games we'd be scraping the bottom of the barrel...

That puts them around Portal 2/God of War/TLOU/Pokemon HGSS tier which looks fine to me. They were always going to be a step below Skyrim/Dark Souls/Persona 5 IMO.

BotW and Witcher 3 for sure and maybe SSBU depending on how much SFF you think it suffered. After that it depends on how well BotW does against Majora's Mask. If they are about equal then Skyrim/Persona 5/Dark Souls are within striking distance.
