I don't mean intimidation.
As an example, would an animal have any sense of the difficulty of lifting a heavy object? Like if there was a massive branch blocking a pathway and you managed to move it, would any animal be able to think the equivalent thought of "wow, that was impressive?"

I know the Vice President has official status in both the executive (obviously) and legislative branches (the latter as president of the Senate.)

And the Chief Justice (judicial branch) also has conditional authority in the legislative branch when he presides over the senate trial during an impeachment proceeding.

So that's executive-legislative, and judicial-legislative.

Is there a position that has official capacity in the executive-judicial branches? I'm drawing a blank.

And the "fk" stands for "foster kids," as it was founded by one and a percentage of their revenue goes toward that community.

It's hard to justify it without putting it within the context of the rest of the movie. Ed Begley's character was a real dick. He was verbally abusive to Roseanne's character, openly flaunted his adultery, etc.

Indeed. Saves mental energy you could be using toward FJ, and you also don't have to worry about "locking out" third place, since both 2nd and 3rd are guaranteed a quarter mil.

I am definitely a fan of black beans and brown rice. A couple weeks back I boiled an entire bag of each, which obviously made a shit ton. So that lasted me for about a week or so. I would just re-heat it, season it, and bam.

It is, I'm enjoying it right now. I don't really taste the chia or flax (they're their pretty much for the nutrition), but the bits of dates add a nice compliment to the yogurt.

And I've finally found the right balance for my water. I usually put way too much lime and/or apple cider in it. I seem to have found the right proportions finally.

Also really good for digestion as well.

This has been something I have been paying attention to lately as I eat alot of spicy foods and caffeine.

The former driver at my job told me awhile back that spicy foods have shown promise as being anticarcinogenic. Do you know anything about this? I tend not to eat spicy foods but if peppers can actually prevent cancer along with the other health benefits, I'll gladly incorporate them into my diet even more.

I'm in good shape (6'0" 185 lbs., muscular) and I'm the type of person who can eat voraciously and never gets fat, and I know that I've abused that gift. I also know that even if I seem healthy on the outside, that doesn't necessarily mean I'm healthy internally. So it's time to change!

For my evening meal, I'm about to enjoy a blueberry Chobani yogurt topped with a tablespoon of chia seeds, a tablespoon of flax seeds and a quarter cup of diced dates. To be washed down with a glass of water flavored with lime juice and a dash of apple cider vinegar.

Here's to defeating hedonism!

Too often, debates are fruitless because both sides argue from a point-of-view that is inapplicable to the other side, in an epistemological sense. To clarify, a Christian may warn a non-believer about suffering in Hell or eternal damnation for their lack of faith in Christ; yet that same atheist has absolutely zero belief in Hell and therefore no concern for it, so the Christian's point is totally moot.

Likewise, an atheist (such as myself) may argue on a purely logical or rational basis. We may say "your belief is largely circumstantial based on when and where you were born." This point, again, does not concern the believer because the focus of their religion is faith.

Ergo, as healthy for discussion and understanding as debates may be, considering how often they fall short of their potential, I feel it is better for believers and non-believers to simply try to understand each other. I am willing to bet we can all agree on quite a few ethical guidelines and proper ways of living. There is no reason to deny the worth or validity of another person's belief system on the sole basis that it is dissimilar to yours.
