I don't think I can ever fully convey how much I hate FF11, FF14, World of Warcraft, Everquest, Runescape, Maple Story, Eve Online, and so on and so on. MMOs are total trash to me for life.

Then you've simply had bad luck with people. None of the people I know that play FFXIV (and they've played other MMOs as well) are like that at all.

Hell, a few of the FFXIV streamers I follow, often stream themselves playing other games.

Octopath Traveler is now #7 on Top Switch Games for this site. Or maybe it's been for some time and I'm only noticing now.

I just thought of something, people are stuck in their homes and need something to play on their Switch (aside from Animal Crossing), naturally this site favors RPGs and when they go searching for RPGs on Switch, Octopath Traveler is gonna pop up. Thus it gets a small boost.

It's the Quarantine Effect.

While I'm sure a lot of Octopath Traveler's votes are just people anti-voting Undertale, I wouldn't be surprised it was decently played on this site.

It does seem like a very GameFAQs type of game. Back when it came out it was touted as a return to classic Square JRPGs, so it had really good word-of-mouth and it's not that obscure of a game.

Now we'll see next round how it fares with its own strength, but I still doubt it's beating Shovel Knight.

Go on a couple island tours to break more rocks. Make sure you aren't powered up on fruits and dig holes behind you to brace yourself so you can get the full 8 hits in.

The Shadowverse anime may have been ok if it was based on the actual game's story and not like a typical children's card game anime.
