It's the opposite of meaningless. It literally gives you a specific answer for any number you can throw at it.

And the right answer is 25% or less, and the more money you make, the smaller %.

It's actually so not-meaningless that we can use it in reverse to reduce TC's monthly pay. 350/25% = 1400. That's around what he makes.

Gacha games also aren't exactly geared towards new players though, I thought they were mostly geared towards what keeps existing players spending. DBZ Dokkan Battle and FE Heroes (the only 2 gachas I've played for any decent amt of time) both have had increasingly lengthy and/or complicated abilities as well. That just seems like a trait of gachas in general, they're just powercreepy.

They are 90% focused on whales and 10% focused on drawing in new whales (but it's much easier to just make a new game to do that anyways)

For some reason I know a few people who have done this and then say they don't like MGS. It's the finale, what do you expect. That said, 1 2 and 3 all are fine to play as your first. But it's all way better played in order.

Right, it's only a net positive if the benefit % is greater than the cost of the overhead and other issues that come with the policy, which is a really high % for federal welfare. There are some more market-based ways to move that debt around which are more efficient though. Your $40k will always be super inefficient federal welfare though. Unless the source of funding is something that's straight up worse for each dollar spent (e.g. war).

The benefits and costs are also not simple and linear either. It could very well be most efficient to kill $1 tril of student debt but leave the rest there. Currently the (distorted) market has settled on a ~$1.5 tril, so maybe that's it. It's very easy to see how your $12 tril would be way beyond any efficient limit though (even Yang's $2 tril is probably way beyond).

Well yeah. To be clear I don't really support it because I realize the money is coming from somewhere. But there a lots of different ways you can "cash out" the current bubble and reset things. I would obviously support a reallocation of war money to student debt though, for example.

My point is that adding a new $12 tril cost active hurts your goal of paying off the $1.5 tril so your plan sucks.

Completely wrong. It's to avoid another massive recession, plain and simple. If that meant everyone goes back to working on the farm then they would do that.

But fortunately, for NOW, a higher education feeds into the US' continually growing service and tech economy. The instant the economy tips away from that, or more likely, foreigners take a larger part of that economy (again, another part of Trump's winning platform), then it's over.

This is what people need to realize when crying about billionaires only giving 0.1% of their money to homeless people or whatever. If they just gave 50% in taxes, then that 50% could go to the homeless!!! No, that 50% would follow the same US budget that all other taxes do, which would be like maybe 0.01% to the homeless. The military and medical industrial complexes would sure be happy though (totally by coincidence I'm sure).

I love how every bleeding heart progressive has their own wildly different line of what personal choices deserve welfare. And then they wonder why their one-size-fits-all federal policies don't help anyone and no one likes them.

The fact is ALL taxes and ALL welfare are subject to this phenomenon. It's just economics and market forces, which are a fundamental fact of society and cannot be avoided. There is no policy that cannot be gambled with. And all those 200k debt people are doing is gambling on a future debt forgiveness policy. They're playing the game you designed and released into the world. And if you want to punish them for it, it's not only completely arbitrary, it's also just part of another game that another group will capitalize on.

It's like 85% of my evaluation yeah. I don't think everyone needs to be that high, but it should be at least 50% or else you really just don't understand how much war affects your favorite other issues.

But my point in that particular post is that I'm not gonna sit here and pretend that lifelong warmonger liars have any sort of platform that I can reasonably analyze and make a decision on. Even the most braindead utilitarian would agree that using false info in your evaluation is not gonna get you to the right answer. You can vote for them, but with heavy doubt and despair, after all other options are exhausted.

Again, it just seems like you're defending eager Hillary supporters. Sorry, I'm never gonna admit they aren't pro-war. And that's not a high horse at all. Pick a better candidate.
