It turns out it's a lot of work to stay shaved if you aren't at least thinning a lot and your hairline looks worse if you have a big forehead if it grows out even a little. These days I don't really care if I start balding. I mean my hairline has gone back some on the sides but my forehead has always been the way it is for the most part.Oh yeah, it's definitely still work. My barber's been willing to shave my head and trim my beard, and I don't mind paying for it since my hands are unsteady as hell and it seems like no matter how thorough I am, I always miss a glaring spot if I tried on my own. But yeah, that first time I asked her to take everything off was one of the most relieving moments I've experienced since my hair really started thinning/receding at 21, and I was absolutely terrified about looking even more awful than I do normally. --- Party leader, passive-aggressive doormat, pasta eater extraordinaire! |
