I've never had any issues. I didn't have A/C for a while in my old car but it is what it is.

No, but my car does have a recall notice that I need to get fixed because apparently the part that latches the door can warp in high heat environments causing it to not latch properly and fly open. I haven't had the issue but I can get the part replaced.
