#1 being me having to top deck Shudderwock and RNG the 5 damage life drain invocation to win. The RNG in this game is moronic.

A braindead netdecking idiot misplayed both Faceless Corrupters and missed lethal TWICE. I stabilize, and have him at no hand and no board.

Did he top deck Shudderwock and win with 11 cards left in library? Of course he did. Were Galakrand and Kronx in the bottom 5 of my library? Of course they were.

Hearthstone is not a skill-based video game, because you can misplay over and over again and still win by accident. Its why this game in no way has legitimate results.

The best part is I was at 5 and he had two Lifedrinker battlecries coming from Shudderwock, but three of the two damage lackey battlecries ignored my board of 7 minions and hit my face. Like I would have lost to the lifedrinkers regardless, but things like that only confirm that this game has predetermined results. There is no defense for a card game not punishing bad play.

15 games played with it, and my verdict is the deck is trash. It relies on drawing everything in an order, which is wildly inconsistent. I had more consistency with Highlander Hunter due to all the tutors.

I had *one* game getting to play 8/8 rush minions. All the others I either didnt draw Galakrond or had to play 4/4s to not die.

I of course got to every opponent at maximum capacity, including Druid playing Ysera for 7 and drawing all 7 portals within the next two turns. This is the sort of thing Im talking about. This game is not, and never will be, skill-based. It is one hundred percent luck.

Having good pull luck means shit, because it doesnt translate to actually getting to play the same game as everyone else. And ANYONE who tries telling me this game is skill-based is an idiot. There is no other interpretation at this point.

Yep. Youre getting ABSURDLY lucky on draws. I have yet to draw in order, and I got to enjoy Mutating a 5 drop into Missile Launcher that killed my entire board.

There are ZERO results in Hearthstone that are skill based, and its especially hilarious when tryhards like FD try telling me Im no good at this game when he has literally never beaten me at anything without cheating. Not Dota, not League, not Hearthstone, not Mafia.

But heres the thing. NO ONE is good at Hearthstone. The RNG bullshit thoroughly disallows all skill from ever factoring into any result.

Oh and in every single mirror, my opponent drew Galakrond first. I know this because Blizzard is run by idiots and they havent fixed the animation bug if Galakrond is in hand.

I've only played Galakrond in half of my games and have still won them all.

Having played both, the quest version is *slightly* better against the field and I think its definitively better in the mirror. Sandstorm Elemental is the mirrorbreaker.

I tried David's version. 4-0 so far. The version I played the other day simply didn't have as powerful of tempo and I think losing a card to the quest might have had something to do with that. I mean, sure, you make it back up with interest later, but a lot of times I wasn't even finishing the quest.

Yep. Im either never drawing Galakrond *or* the tutor, or I never finish the quest on time despite running 19 battlecry cards.

Or my personal favorite: Shudderwock ALWAYS dealing 5 damage to every other minion and wiping my board.

It is a factual, provable modality that Hearthstone is 100% decided by RNG for all results. People bitching about this deck are playing against people with good luck. It is that simple.

I'm been having a surprising amount of fun with Galakrond Priest and Paladin-Only Paladin.

Lightforged Paladin lacks any kind of silence and the removal options all require two cards. I like that idea for a mechanic, but right now its bad.

Calling it right now: Galakrond Shaman is going to be unfair to absolutely absurd levels. Shudderwock copying that battlecry and giving two MORE 8/8 rush minions, a free devastation, and all the other stuff youve done all game is so, so busted.

Warrior is low on board wipes. Brawl can backfire, Warpath isn't THAT strong, and Plague of Flames is conditional. Mad Aspect is the one final oomph control warrior often needs, because after the aforementioned cards it was possible to run out of removal value and have to rely on rush mechs and such.

And with Platebreaker around, warrior cannot ever get outvalued on removal. That card will look over warrior/druid's shoulder forever.

I would like to thank Pelosi in advance for a free election win in 2020. Party leadership botched this so badly that they didnt bother waiting for any evidence. I guess since waiting for an investigation worked out so well for them last time (lol) they thought theyd look less dumb for skipping steps this time.

This is so hilariously overdue. Took like 5 years of me (and a few others) convincing Allen to do it but he finally caved. Thank the good lord. This is how every other site does their block feature. None of this crap where ignoring goes one way. If I block someone, I want them completely and thoroughly out of my life, just like it's done on Reddit, Facebook, Twitter, and so-on.

Corrik, the entire point is to delete people who are legitimately harassing you, which I've dealt with on this site for over 15 years now. It's nice to be able to come here and not have to worry about it anymore. It's also nice to not have to deal with obsessive marking types who flag hundreds of messages per day, of which Board 8 has quite a few but none will actually bother admitting it.

And trust me, I know who all of them are. Goodbye and good riddance.
