It's a streamer's list that I got from Reddit. Some people have been running a similar build with the Shaman Quest, but in my 3 matchups against that build I've steamrolled the early game and they've been unable to recover, so I think this is the better build:

Maybe, but I try to make it a general rule not to craft anything in the opening days unless I'm super confident I'll continue to use those cards.

In any event, the version you posted without the quest is probably better since trying to force a bunch of battlecries in to satisfy the quest is frustrating. Really should go one way or the other.

I prefer it with the quest, because you can finish it before transforming with 4 8/8s with rush for 9 or after for deal 10 and heal 10 for 8.

Like this is straight up unfair. Half the time you don't even need Galakrond. Every turn feels incredibly powerful.

I tried David's version. 4-0 so far. The version I played the other day simply didn't have as powerful of tempo and I think losing a card to the quest might have had something to do with that. I mean, sure, you make it back up with interest later, but a lot of times I wasn't even finishing the quest.

Normally I finish quest on turn 4 or 5 unless I literally draw a fistful of Patches.

Faceless Corrupter is not a tech card. It literally says make two 5/4s with rush for 5.

Yep. Im either never drawing Galakrond *or* the tutor, or I never finish the quest on time despite running 19 battlecry cards.

Or my personal favorite: Shudderwock ALWAYS dealing 5 damage to every other minion and wiping my board.

It is a factual, provable modality that Hearthstone is 100% decided by RNG for all results. People bitching about this deck are playing against people with good luck. It is that simple.

Having played both, the quest version is *slightly* better against the field and I think its definitively better in the mirror. Sandstorm Elemental is the mirrorbreaker.

Yep. Youre getting ABSURDLY lucky on draws. I have yet to draw in order, and I got to enjoy Mutating a 5 drop into Missile Launcher that killed my entire board.

There are ZERO results in Hearthstone that are skill based, and its especially hilarious when tryhards like FD try telling me Im no good at this game when he has literally never beaten me at anything without cheating. Not Dota, not League, not Hearthstone, not Mafia.

But heres the thing. NO ONE is good at Hearthstone. The RNG bullshit thoroughly disallows all skill from ever factoring into any result.

Oh and in every single mirror, my opponent drew Galakrond first. I know this because Blizzard is run by idiots and they havent fixed the animation bug if Galakrond is in hand.

15 games played with it, and my verdict is the deck is trash. It relies on drawing everything in an order, which is wildly inconsistent. I had more consistency with Highlander Hunter due to all the tutors.

I had *one* game getting to play 8/8 rush minions. All the others I either didnt draw Galakrond or had to play 4/4s to not die.

I of course got to every opponent at maximum capacity, including Druid playing Ysera for 7 and drawing all 7 portals within the next two turns. This is the sort of thing Im talking about. This game is not, and never will be, skill-based. It is one hundred percent luck.

Having good pull luck means shit, because it doesnt translate to actually getting to play the same game as everyone else. And ANYONE who tries telling me this game is skill-based is an idiot. There is no other interpretation at this point.

I only installed Hearthstone again to play Battlegrounds, not even really sure I could play standard easily since I haven't played the last 3 expansions. I have enough dust to craft a few decks (especially after dusting all of the wild cards) but I really don't think Hearthstone is a rabbit hole I need to go down again.

That being said Battlegrounds is awesome and I'm almost at 6K MMR

So I wonder what exactly they're nerfing. The double invoke one would seem to be the obvious target, but I'd guess it would need to be a simple mana nerf. The two 5/6 spell also seems like an easy choice. Maybe change the 2/1 rushers that come along with the invokes into 1/1s?

Nerf predictions:

The highest drawn winrate cards are like...

Galkarond 71.6% (They may or may not touch this. C'Thun was probably the highest winrate card in C'Thun decks. Shaman Galk stats are way better than other Galks for drawn/played rate, so it might get hit).

Invocation of Frost 67.7% (This might go to 2 mana, I think? 2 mana for a 2/1 rush isn't even that far off from playable. I've played Hench Clan Hogsteed in wild, and freeze a minion is maybe better than a 1/1. Certainly at 1 mana it's like Glacial Shard with rush, and a 2/1 with rush is a lot better than a 2/1 without rush).

Corrupted Elementalist 67.6% (this is going to 6 mana. People are playing Devoted Maniac, and for one more mana you basically get Devoted Maniac but also a third 3/3 body, and two invokes).

(Next highest are Mogu Fleshshaper and Shudderwock, which...maaaaybe Mogu Fleshshaper, but they've survived this long without nerfs, don't expect any changes).

A braindead netdecking idiot misplayed both Faceless Corrupters and missed lethal TWICE. I stabilize, and have him at no hand and no board.

Did he top deck Shudderwock and win with 11 cards left in library? Of course he did. Were Galakrand and Kronx in the bottom 5 of my library? Of course they were.

Hearthstone is not a skill-based video game, because you can misplay over and over again and still win by accident. Its why this game in no way has legitimate results.

The best part is I was at 5 and he had two Lifedrinker battlecries coming from Shudderwock, but three of the two damage lackey battlecries ignored my board of 7 minions and hit my face. Like I would have lost to the lifedrinkers regardless, but things like that only confirm that this game has predetermined results. There is no defense for a card game not punishing bad play.

It has been apparent for some time that you do 90% of your shitposting from your alts. And so as many users have I added your alts to my ignore filter but left your main untouched. This meant you could still see my posts, but I would not see yours unless they were made with your main. This felt like a reasonable compromise and an overall quality of life improvement.

But then, presumably because I still called you out on your crap from time to time, you blocked me with your main. Not "ignored" so you wouldn't see my posts, but "blocked" so I could no longer see yours. That seemed excessive, but if you are hell bent on building a safe space for yourself where the likes of big bad FD can't interact with you then who am I to interfere. The end result being that I would no longer have even the limited interactions I was having with your main.

But when over half the activity in my topic become notifications about posts that don't even exist for me I get annoyed. You made a choice to prevent me from even seeing your posts yet you reserve the right to reply to mine. After 9 out of 13 posts are phantoms I asked you to correct the matter. But you decided not to and so 2 phantom posts later I'm done with it.

I sincerely hope you have a good life and you aren't surrounded with the level of negativity that you project online. If you absolutely need to talk about hearthstone somewhere I'm sure Reddit would love to have someone to continue to dunk on.

On topic though I'm 8-1 with the shaman deck David posted and my one loss was to an absurd Dragonqueen high roll. I'm only rank 7 because I haven't played seriously in a could months but I'm gong to try to push to legend before the nerfs land. Then I'll look for a fun highlander deck to play.
