But the ones I end up liking are usually the ones I have to buy... Also, I dont know what world youre living, but I would love to find a good PC for $100. I have not seen that anywhere here. Some old crappy ones are that price, but not decent ones. Not here, at least. Though, a PC wouldnt really cut it for me, anyway. A laptop works. Inch better for my lifestyle. And not every system can be for everybody. Personally, I love the Switch, and already have both a Wii and Wii U. There were enough games that have justified buying it for me. It might not be the same for everybody, but that depends on what games you want... Or like... While I will agree Mario Odyssey isnt the longest game, it depends on how much time you have and what you do. There are a ton of moons to find. And you could speed through the game, or find a lot before leaving for the first time. And just walking around the worlds can be pretty fun. As for the other games, its true they may not appeal to you. Again, I cant say for sure, but I think Winter has a few games in mind. So, it depends on the person. Also, for the Wii, I probably wouldnt trade it in for the Wii U until after youve bought the Wii U. Thats because you can transfer all your Wii data from the Wii to the Wii U. So, he should have got a pass on playing, as well. Like how the kid you mentioned should have. And after reading a few articles about it, it seems that people do go to the hospital for concussions from being hit in the head/face with a dodge ball. Even if it's not a constant stream of people with dodge ball injuries, they do exist. And this kid was unlucky enough to have sustained one. While it is possible that he was bullied, I'm not gonna call it bullying unless there is more proof of it. Personally, I'm just leaning toward it being more than just some errant throw due to the concussion and suspension. I think that's a perfectly logical conclusion to come to but I admit that might not be the case True. It is all speculation. Though, personally, I'm not leaning toward bullying yet. I see no basis for it. All I know is they were playing dodge ball, and a kid who probably shouldn't have been playing the game in the first place got hurt... Shit happens. Since Nintendo doesn't do sales much, the games will probably be about the same price if he gets them new. They may be cheaper used, as would the Wii U be. But why waste money buying a Wii U simply because it's cheaper? He would only be able to play Wii U games. Buying a Switch makes more sense. Not only could he play the Switch only games, but also the games ported over from Wii U. That makes more sense, yeah? Though, in the end, it depends on what he wants to play. There are enough Switch only games that are pretty fun. And while you can play some of the games on other systems, he may not have the other system. Or want to play on it. Like people always tell me to get games on PC. But I got like 3 games on my switch that I could also get on PC. And it much easier to play on the switch, not to mention it's portable. And I don't have to be stuck to an outlet, or have to carry a laptop around. And if he has a PC, but not a laptop, it's even less portable. I personally think the switch is worth it. But it depends on what he wants. Not to mention, he was really young, which could probably help... And football players constantly get concussions but they're also walking refrigerators Yeah. I just said up there that they get hit with enough force to get concussions a lot. Idk why you mentioned it again... Because you're comparing a dodgeball to a 300 lb offensive lineman in an attempt to argue that it doesn't take much force to cause a concussion lol Well, you're throwing a ball pretty hard & fast. And it apparently can cause concussions. Also, just because a football player can cause a concussion doesn't mean that only football players can cause a concussion. Also, I wasn't comparing them. I was just explaining how concussions work and using football to explain it because that's how the article explained it. But according to this article, a dodgeball thrown by a 10-year-old boy can also cause a concussion.
