Yeah the Ghost guy diving at you definitely gave me some headaches. I did the B-sides as I unlocked them too but you're definitely supposed to do all of the regular levels and then start the B-sides. The difficulty curve is pretty nice if you play the levels in order

Not in customizing your loadout and building a character. Nioh is a loot based game so even though the combat is built around Souls it's a pretty different experience.

That being said I got bored with Nioh after 15 hours so no thanks.

We're reaching an important part in these trailers to determine whether or not the game goes past Midgar. They're fleshing it out so much that I don't really care either way but will be interesting to see if they show more.

I'm not sure if you need to beat Chapter 8 but I have a feeling you do.

Difficulty is uhh... way harder than than the base game. They teach you a few movement techniques that are required for basically the whole thing so it might depend on how well you can do them. Wavedashing and upward dash wall jumping

For reference on how difficult Chapter 9 is:

Total Deaths (regular stages): 987
Total Deaths (B-Sides): 2169
Total Deaths (C-Sides): 1118
Total Deaths (Chapter 9): 1985

Chapter 9 also took me 5 and a half hours so it's pretty long but that's still a pretty skewed ratio for deaths

I'm a big KH fan and I have zero excitement for what they've shown so far. Getting to play as Axel for 3 minutes sounds like a big shrug for me.

Maybe they'll add a mode where you can actually go through a battle arena as the character or something. Always felt like such a waste they made an entire moveset for Riku and you play as him for 5-10 minutes total.

Taking 150k damage from a super attack with Icarus active makes me want to pull my hair out. It never happens with Whis but the only difference is 35% vs 40%. It makes absolutely no sense

Giants Form and Movies Bosses down. They were both surprisingly easy, PHY Broly wrecked another one with MB. Giants took me 30 minutes so I'm definitely never doing that one again. Double AGL Tapion is a necessity for Giants imo, he carried the run so hard.

Yeah I try to bring a team where I can consistently NOT super for the first few phases and it makes it go a lot faster.

Tried out Androids, Pure Saiyans, and Full Power SBR last night and they all kicked my butt. I got down to 1 enemy left in FP using a Siblings Bond team but I'm not sure I'll be able to beat most of these new stages even with my units

I much preferred playing on the Wii U gamepad over the Switch. I lived with roommates at the time and I used that thing all the time when they wanted to watch TV. My Deadly Premonition 2 observation (other than that it is absolutely wild) is that the blonde lady with the sunglasses was very clearly modelled after Diane in Twin Peaks season 3.

The main character is also like 80% Dale Cooper. If I remember correctly he talks about coffee a lot.

I think the real question is what they're going to do to give Terry a gimmick if he gets in. Almost all of the DLC characters have a slight gimmick so I'm going to guess that either he has an EX bar and he can boost his specials somehow or he has different variations he can pick like in KoF.

I finally got to test out the TEQ Beerus + LR Beerus rotation on Siblings Bond. With no support on rotation:

1 dupe Beerus gets an attack stat of 2.7 million after activating his passive
free dupe LR Beerus had a stat of 3.75 million with max ki after activating his passive.

They also heal and take 0 damage. Is this the best rotation in the game?

personally, i think the "overwatch 2" rumours are probably true in that there is a large overwatch development project happening, but i can't imagine it's a new version of the game. that would add nothing to the table. there's nothing mechanically wrong with Overwatch to warrant this, it would just be the same characters in the same modes on a new engine at best

i think it's probably a large scale addition to the currently existing Overwatch game - like a giant PVE campaign, or a looter shooter mode, or something. Something utilizing the currently existing assets but in a completely different way that the normal Overwatch team isn't quite able to capitalize on beyond the little event modes they do.

I've always found it odd that each skin has a slot where you can look at the weapons for the skin. I know they added the option to make weapons golden but it seems like it was designed to give character multiple weapons in the future ala TF2. A big expansion that gives everyone a 2nd weapon would be very interesting

Wait how did they change Symettra negatively? Dropping her turret count from 6 to 3? She's completely busted right now because they fixed some tick rate issue with her left click (and Zarya) so now she melts people at full charge.

Game is basically done at this point as far as I'm concerned. Personally pro Overwatch 2 being real.

Role queue really adds a lot in my opinion. You get two people who specifically signed up to play support in EVERY GAME. Forced teamwork goes a long way in a game like this

I never played FFVIII so I was excited for this but the HD character models on fuzzy PS1 backgrounds is really turning me off in all of the videos I've seen.

I finished the Goku farm and now I'm halfway through the orbs for Vegeta. I forgot that you get a bunch of dupes from missions so you don't really need to farm extra copies, just the orbs. It worked out for Goku though because I put all of the extra dupes I farmed into transforming Goku.

After about 20 hours I think my fun is starting to wane with the game. I have 6 episodes done for Warrior and Thief and at least 3 for everyone else. I don't feel like I'm able to make enough of an impact with my choices versus getting screwed by RNG. I know this game is mostly RNG but I think there could be a better balance. Some runs you get to a point where your max damage is like 9 a turn and the enemy is doing 15+ to you.

I like the game but I think too many runs are flat out impossible with the gear you're given and the enemies you face.
