He WILL win in 2020 unless democrats take responsibility. By that I mean do their duty to go for an impeachment inquiry regardless of the Senate. It still leads to public exposure which will mess with his chances in 2020 just by virtue of being a scandal. Remember Bill Clinton's scandal just for brushing Monica's teeth? It's a more serious case against Donald.

Obstruction of justice
Collusion with Russians
2 campaign finance felonies
Abuse of power and undermining separation of powers
Emoluments clause violation

I still can't quite figure out what they'd impeach him for. The Mueller report stated there was no evidence of any collusion or obstruction of justice. It doesn't mean he's innocent of those crimes, but it does mean there is zero evidence as of this moment. This is why our justice system is predicated on the notion of "guilty" or "not guilty" and not "innocent" and "guilty". Campaign finance felonies would be, at worst, a fine for Trump. I'm not sure what abuse of power you're referring to, but he's allowed to do certain things under executive privilege. Not sure what you're referring to with the Emoluments clause, but if it's about that bank thing back in 1994, as far as I understand it (and I'm not an expert by any means in property or anything like that) but the bank itself collaborated with funds from Russia; not Trump.

As far as obstruction goes, as my understanding, he DID NOT fire Mueller. Talking about firing Mueller isn't a crime. Do we really wanna open pandora's box with going after thought crimes?

My opinion:

The way the founding fathers intended for this system to work was that the President didn't have to worry about protecting his own image and, instead, focused on the well-being of the country and its citizens. No President is above the law. That's what the articles of Impeachment are for. The purpose of the investigation was always to try and convince both the House and Senate to vote the President out of office.

I havent read the rest of the posts but the fact you never got into an argument is actually a red flag to me.

I consider getting into an argument actually a good thing once in a while. It means both of you are passionate about something.

I have found that the strangest couples are the ones who barely ever argue.

I could be wrong, but this is something Ive picked up over the years. Im convinced a lot of women like when you disagree with them at times. It may present a knowledge that youre not just kissing their ass and have your own mindset.
