You think that's bad? I've gotten the wrong sandwich a few times and just had to deal because the drive thru was extremely busy and the inside looked busy, too.

Either that, or I forgot to check before I got home, Lol.

The best was when they forgot my order, I had to repeat it, then they swapped my fries for two apple pies. None of which would have been a big deal but when I tried to point it out, she interrupted me and told me it was "to apologize."

So I just ate the pies instead.

There's this Dunkin Donuts right by me here and goodness gracious, I think their business model is to intentionally screw up your order. It's the drive thru in particular.

Me: May I order a sausage and egg sandwich with no cheese?
DD: Sausage, egg and cheese?
Me: No cheese
DD: No cheese?
Me: Correct
DD: Ok, come on up.

BAM - you can already see the cheese right through the wrapper.

This is pretty much it. They're timed on every single order, so they're basically on auto-pilot to have any hope of getting a good time.

Personally, I just hate when they mess up my order in a way that can't be fixed without making a new sandwich. If you smear mustard all over my burger, you can't just wipe it off.

Has any study been done to show how worker performance has increased in areas that have significantly increased minimum wage? One of they key arguments was that better paid workers did better jobs.

No. I meant that with better pay should come better quality work, and in a topic about fast food workers always fucking up orders it is relevant to ask if in places where better pay has come, the quality has improved.

My local wendy's usually messes up my order as well.

What kind of drink?
Coke please
Ok

*gets a diet coke* son of a...

444 please

*gets 3 chicken nuggets instead of 4* son of a...

EVERYtime I order it's something like this.

At my local mcdonalds sometimes they just hand me food when I pull up and don't even ask for money lmao I've gotten an ice cream, some fraps, and a sundae for free a couple times. It usually happens when there's no one to take my order or they ask me to go to the first window and place my order. I don't say anything and just go like okkkkkk

If your saying it should result in better work, on a level I agree. But at the same time if they can't have the same number of employees coming in at 15$ It could legit mean a lower quality of work.

This is why chik fil a and in n and out are good IMO, they have billion people working there

But what I meant initially, was the main/key thing Ive heard is that they should pay 15 because basically, thats what people deserve to be paid.

Maybe you just missed the reports. I'm not blaming you or anything, but "better quality" WAS a big argument as to why a hiked wage is good, because "its better for the employees" isn't a strong motivator to companies or people whose buying power would take a hit because they were already making near the new minimum. For example:

Here in NC that order could come with a large fry and drink and still be around $8.

A 10 piece tender can be like 9$.

I'd bet there it must be like $15 to $20.

Thiiiiiis.

The McDonalds I go to has a assembly line like system.

As the burger goes down the line the person there just adds what's in front of them.

One could make a 100 or so burgers in a day and get it right but then there is always some that will sneak up on them.
