This x1000 I grew up in an Italian household, and we generally make broccoli real , all sauteed with garlic and olive oil. Yet it was always a running gag in television and cartoons that broccoli sucked, but even as a 6 year old I was like "lol what?". Later on in life I realized everyone hates broccoli because most people just fucking steam it and call it a day. No wonder they don't like it, nothing tastes good without seasoning lol. --- |

I legitimately love potatoes, broccoli, corn, carrots, yams, burdock, pumpkin/squash, and cauliflower. Garlic and onions are GOAT as well, but you rarely just eat them on their own. The rest, ehhh, they need to be in something or cooked a certain way for me to dig it. --- |

| LostForest 11/13/19 1:02:06 PM #1 | See, my worry is that Pokemon Home is basically just going to be Pokemon Ami/Refresh/Etc, whatever touch screen game they want to call it, rather than actually being able to use my Pokemon in battle and see them in their glory. So what they should do is get a studio like Genius Sonority to create a companion game, where the focus is to have all the Pokemon in one place. Focus just on the battles and teams the same way that Stadium (and to a lesser degree Coliseum) did. Then there's no excuse that they can't balance all the work, since thats literally the only thing they're worrying about. Like honestly, people have been asking for a new Pokemon Stadium for like 20 years now. I think this is a great excuse to bring it back. --- |

One that I don't mind paying microtransactions for once in a while, to reward the devs for actually improving it. (And I fucking HATE microtransactions) It's bizarre. Niantic got a lot of heat for how much they fumbled the release of Pokemon Go, but 3 years later, they fixed a lot of the problems and added in lots of new features that fans requested. Compare to Gamefreak who removes features from games on a regular basis and never listens to fans lol. --- |

Cops had me try to pick him out of a photo array, but apparently I picked the wrong photo since none of them looked like him/l since they didn't seem like recent photos. They took my statement and are gonna do the same with my wife tomorrow. But they said if no one can properly identify him from the photo array it "makes things difficult". Not sure why they can't arrest the guy if they have camera footage and his license plate, so I can identify him, you know, the way he looks now, instead of how he looked God knows how many years ago. --- |

| LostForest 11/10/19 3:11:29 PM #1 | Some dude was speeding through the parking lot when me and me wife were crossing the street and he didn't look like he was gonna stop, so we had to step back out of the way. When he got near us he rolled down the window and started yelling at us, and I put my arms out saying "I'm a pedestrian!" He got outta the car, stormed over to me while I was standing there, and instantly grabbed me by the throat and started choking me in front of his wife and kid in the car lol. He then picked me up and slammed me on the ground, though luckily I kept my head up and didn't hit it. There were several witnesses, and the entire thing was caught on security camera, people ran over to help, etc so the guy sped away, but they got photos of his license plate. Cops said they'll go arrest him, etc, but that it doesn't count as assault since I didn't have any major injuries though I suspect my elbow might be fractured. This was hours ago and thank God I'm fine, but I'm really shaken by it. I'm torn on whether to go to the hospital to have my elbow checked out, or not. Mostly cuz I've had fractures before and theres not much they'll do about it, but my wife is saying if we wanted to pursue litigation over it, I should go get the elbow checked for that. Anyone have advice? I've never been attacked before, lol. --- |
