treewojima 11/25/19 6:18:15 PM #1 | Literally the perfect sci-fi/horror movie, even better than Alien (which is hard to beat). The effects still hold up too |

Nah, I think Aliens has it beat, but not by much I'm the kinda guy that thinks that Alien was better than Aliens, so take that into account. It's a fantastic fucking movie that basically invented the genre, but I just think T2 did it better as a package. |

Topic | Pluto TV likes to show anti Medicare for all commercials and nothing else |
treewojima 11/24/19 6:09:05 AM #1 | It's getting annoying I guess that's just what I get for trying the idea that there's a streaming channel out there that's entirely free with commercials What next, solely pro Trump stuff come 2020? The Fairness Doctrine should be reintroduced, or even better, just bar political ads altogether so they have to campaign by other methods |

Topic | Dell is trying to push a SHIT computer for way too much money... |
treewojima 11/22/19 11:43:07 AM #17 | I think you're overestimating just what the average office employee does with their work computer. Not everyone is programming, doing 3D modeling, CAD work, data analysis or other stuff that requires horsepower. Your average person will be emailing, interacting with web apps through company intranet, Office, and maybe some proprietary programs depending on what they do. |

treewojima 11/22/19 11:30:59 AM #15 | companies don't want to deal with some IT manager that builds all their computers from scratch, they want something modular with replacement parts widely available and strong support from the manufacturer it may be overpriced, but it's still better than building all your own workstations and warrantying them yourself |

treewojima 11/22/19 10:48:15 AM #32 | oh yeah, the Ford DCT transmission. talk about a fucking nightmare, I dealt with so many of those. It's just a piss poor design all around, and no matter how much they try to improve the oil seals that keep the clutches dry, they're freaking seals and will always be the weak link and leak over time. plus the whole faulty TCM thing that literally made the vehicle undrivable without warning They're STILL putting them in the newish crossover EcoSport as the only transmission option I always felt bad for people bringing them in for those issues, it took every ounce of strength to not just out and say "you're always going to have these issues, it's a faulty design, you shouldn't have bought this vehicle, please get rid of it as soon as you can afford to" |

treewojima 11/22/19 10:35:44 AM #29 | and another note @Error1355, the 4 cylinder in your car is actually designed by Mazda and has a timing chain that will probably never need to be replaced, so don't ever worry about it being a Ford lol https://www.motorreviewer.com/engine.php?engine_id=111 |

treewojima 11/22/19 10:19:10 AM #25 | Error1355 posted... treewojima posted...Error, you're probably fine if you have the base non-Ecoboost 4 cylinder motor and the standard 6 speed auto, those are both very reliable if maintenance is kept up.aww yeah I knew going with the non-ecoboost was a better idea. lol, some are better than others, but there's always complexity and added reliability issues with turbocharged engines, like oil leaking from the turbo the V6 ecoboost they put in the Fusion Sport has such severe cooling issues for the back two cylinders that they're known for warping the heads and needing a new motor outright. Handled a few of those in the service lane. The 1.6 inline 4 was even worse, it would again overheat in the rear cylinder, warp BOTH the block and head, and potentially catch fucking fire. Ford got sued over that one |

treewojima 11/22/19 10:09:22 AM #16 | Error, you're probably fine if you have the base non-Ecoboost 4 cylinder motor and the standard 6 speed auto, those are both very reliable if maintenance is kept up. You might run into issues with wear items and suspension components like ball joints and tie rods, but that's inevitable on any vehicle other known problems are the Sync system, throttle bodies and blend door actuators (clicking in the dash by the vents) |

treewojima 11/21/19 9:43:40 AM #8 | YellowMustard69 posted... You don't round "up". You round away from zero. not necessarily, you have to be specific, but can usually infer round up/down/towards/away if you have both the input and the output. the former two are relative to the sign of the input, the latter are absolute |
