The reason people get mad in Tony's scenario is twofold. 1) The "bad player" in this scenario is acting against their own self-interest. People can forgive someone's choice acting against the table if they were acting in their own self-interest because "it's what they would have done". 2) The expected outcome odds do adjust the moment the "bad player" draws the unexpected card, for better or for worse. Now, you can't actually do anything with that given how Blackjack is played, but you still have to experience it in a way that you don't if the "bad player" played "correctly". My grandpa counted cards when there wasn't AI to catch people and he got 86'd from all Vegas casinos. Laughlin, on the other hand....My dad was "invited to play something else" once for counting cards, but they didn't take his money or ban him (or at least they didn't say he was banned). I don't think he made an absurd amount of money though, and afaik they technically didn't catch him actually counting cards but he won a big hand and everyone around him but him got really excited. If you vote for Powerstance, some suggestions on what to actually Powerstance would be appreciated. I assume if I do Twinblade I'll use whatever is available early on until I get the Red Iron Twinblade, but if you want to clarify what you think I should be using until then feel free. I probably won't start for at least a week, so this is definitely not a playthrough topic. | kevwaffles 07/22/19 9:22:48 PM #48 | 1) Grinding all the skills that you basically couldn't level through normal gameplay in MGO2 (MGS4), including ones I knew I'd probably never use like Shield. 2) Getting the Auf Wiedersehen Petrovic trophy in GTA 4. It was a bronze trophy (or 30 gamerscore on XBox) for winning every multiplayer mode, which sounds like a bronze trophy, EXCEPT they made the baffling decision to count every race track as a separate mode, so you end up having to do all of this: https://www.xboxachievements.com/images/guides/554-gtapet.jpg On top of that, if everyone drops a race even after you win, it doesn't count, so trading wins with someone for the races was basically mandatory. Oh, and Rockstar servers could randomly decide not to save a win somewhere, and the only way to hope to figure that out is to check the leaderboard for your win stats for each and every mode on that list individually. Oh, and I never got max rank in GTA 4 online, so I didn't even Platinum it.
