Damage Over Time is an interesting mechanic because it forces the player to do something they otherwise wouldnt. It also by its nature increases the consequence for not acting to counter it the longer one waits to act on it.

There are multiple methods of handling and labeling Damage Over Time, and typically the use of multiple different types is to require them to react in different ways.

The game I enjoyed the poison mechanic the most was Darkest Dungeon. That game handles status ailments very well.

Its actually pretty ingenious. Putting out a free game for advertising purposes is a solid idea, but getting anyone to actually play it would be a huge hurdle.

Imagine titling a video "WE ARE GOIN TO WAR I need YOU to fight back against the FAR LEFT" and what it boils down to is a contract dispute with a theater.

Yeah, it is a bit hyperbolic. But for a milquetoast fence-sitter, a contract dispute is about as close to all out combat as they are likely to get.

Whats happening is that he and a couple of groups put together an event with speakers and so forth, about discussing how to end racism and how to address the escalating violence associated with it. Other people who are in some way prescribing to the philosophy of what is referred to as antifa began sending threats to the venue and the venue gave in. The organizers believed they are in breach of their contract for doing so, so they are trying to raise money to sue them.

The thing I cant shake out is how damn specific the clerk was. Really fucking specific about what they saw. If they were full of shit, why bother with all the additional details? Not just underage, but bound. Also mentioning the different ethnicities seems oddly specific, and the cherry on top is to include that the guy was in them and aroused.

Things arent always logical. The least generous analysis would be some guy hoping against hope to somehow advance their relationship with the girl in question.
