A) Incompetent
B) Did it based on loyalty (Cenk endorsed Sanders, which Sanders accepted, less than a month ago)

She was kidnapped by her father. Children kidnapped by parents are generally the result of a bitter fight between parents and the child isn't actually in any serious danger. Almost all cases of Amber alerts rescuing children happen because the kidnapper gets the alert and turns themselves in.

They have an extremely low success rate for when children are kidnapped by strangers which is why the system was created in the first place.

The kidnappers get these alerts as well, it turns out, and all it does is make them panic & possibly injure/kill the child.

I always read them when they go off but 9/10 they are for cities over two hours away. Not much I can do.

I don't mind the alerts, but you act as if people are unable to hate different things to different degrees at the same time.
