From my experience, iMacs have an amazing shelf life. People in studio settings prefer iMacs for two reasons.

1. All-in-One computers are easier to set up and move around, and require less cable management.
2. macOS generally has more finely-tuned and optimized ports of audio and video workstation software compared to Windows.

The software you listed (FL Studio, Adobe CS, etc.) runs just as fine on Windows (FL Studio actually performing better on Windows, as their macOS port is relatively new), so I'd recommend you either build a custom PC.

For a little over $500, if you know your stuff, you can build a decent custom PC that outperforms an iMac. If you're insistent on getting an iMac, save up and get a more recent one.

Creative Mode can be fun in small doses, but I have no idea why people enjoy Normal mode. The entire gameplay loop focuses on landing on a planet, scanning animals and trees, not finding anything remotely interesting, crafting resources to refuel your ship, rinse and repeat.

The entire base building mechanics are so unintuitive, too.

No other medium of art requires as much skill as playing a game, though. Music and visual art are universal, literature and film/television require basic literacy if it's in a different language, but video games often require a lot of prerequisites to be enjoyed.

Nintendo appears to be preparing to launch SNES wireless controllers for the Switch. In a FCC filing spotted by forum posters at Resetera, photos of the new SNES controller have been marked as confidential until next year. However, a label location reveals that there could be ZL and ZR buttons on the top or this section could form part of the Joy-Con docking rail to attach them to a Switch.

Nintendo launched NES wireless controllers for the Switch last year, alongside access to classic NES titles via its online subscription service. The FCC filing is fueling speculation that Nintendo will likely launch a similar bundle for SNES classic games, with the controllers sliding into the Joy-Con rails just like the NES versions.

The FCC filing reveals very little other information, apart from the fact this SNES controller will naturally include Bluetooth support for the wireless connection to the Switch.

Weve reached out to Nintendo for comment on this mysterious SNES controller, and well update you accordingly.

I'm looking for a 43-inch TV that has decent color accuracy. I have an LG 4K 43-inch Smart TV and it's fucking awful. The colors are horrendous (everything looks very warm and yellowed), anything that's not on game mode has terrible lag, even stuff like my Apple TV or just the remote, and the WiFi module has busted.

What would be decent recommendations for 43-inch TVs, preferably 4K, with good colors and decent gaming mode(s)? My budget is around $300.

The Switch is portable to begin with. There's the Switch Lite coming out in September, and there's a refreshed version of the existing Switch, which is the same thing but with twice the battery life and a slightly brighter screen.

I'll probably just upgrade tbh.

Mine was cracking. I got what I assumed was a crappy one made out of Chinesium. It cost $20, took maybe 10 minutes to do, and it's sturdier than the original to boot. I'd upgrade to the newest model but my launch model is "special".

All it needed was a replacement WiFi/Bluetooth antenna, and it did the trick. One of the easiest repairs I've done. How are more people not doing this, or at least learning about it?
