The idea is interesting, but actually believing them is dumb.

Ive only ever had them read once by my friend. I wasnt taking it seriously and thought it would be fun, but the shit was so accurate it was kind of freaky.

The 0 to 21 narrative the cards give is fun

Believing that they can predict your future is fucking stupid just like anything else

I like the art on them. The most popular deck, the Waite deck, was painted by Arthur Edward Waite. He was a mason so I see lots of Masonic symbolism.

Regarding divination, magic, that sort of thing, Idk. Ill say I'm a skeptic, but there is much I don't understand in this world.

Its a method of cold reading. You can create broad enough categorical statements and they fill in the rest.

I fool around with them once a year on Halloween. Fun stuff.

Its so much easier when you know the person.

Actually she was reading things she had no idea about. At the time I had just started seeing my husband long distance and hadnt told anyone. I went on two trips with him and didnt tell my friends or family.

When she read my cards she basically said there would be a new man in my life and we would meet in secret places. That we would communicate across distance. That big change was coming my way (the death card appeared next to some other card) and it looked like I would move away.

I dont normally believe in fortune telling but that was very odd.

I mean, that's vague as fuck and could have just been her trying to romanticise you being single and wanting you to find a "secret lover". But that's exactly how these things work. They will throw out vague statements and then you make the connections for them.

Pretty sure the first Persona game came out like four years after Stardust Crusaders already ended.
