Mad Max: Low Fodder. Next.

Red XIII: Low Midcarder. He's a bit stronger than Cait Sith and Yuffie (who should be Fodder Line imho). Furries love this guy, but... really just them. FFVIIR will help, and he's a compelling character from one of the best games of all time, but he's still overshadowed by Cloud, Tifa, Seph, and Aeris.

Kain: High Fodder. Got fewer votes than Olimar in 2013 in losing to Shepard, and didn't advance against Master Chump and Raiden in 2010 (though Master Chump was actually viable at that time). I don't see him as being overly strong given that history.

An SEC team would get in regardless in that case, since the Pac-12 gets zero respect. But let's say it's Georgia vs. Bama in the title game. Bama is undefeated going in. Georgia wins. I'm thinking that the team that lost to a "respectable" team would get in over a team with an inexcusable loss, even if that "respectable" team is the one with the inexcusable loss.

Georgia lost to a 2-3 team at home, a team that it was favored over by 20 points. That's... pretty telling how overrated the Bulldogs are this year. So I do agree that they're not going to run the table.

Nah, even if Georgia wins out, the committee has proven that it won't put a 1-loss team in if they feel the resume isn't good enough, and losing to the Gamecocks in their house is a pretty big black mark on their resume.

If you can't tell that I still have some bitterness left in me from 2017, well, I DO. So there.

Thank goodness there won't be two SEC teams in this year though. That is very, very bad for the NCAA.

It never crossed my mind to try an FG there. I would've gone for it, or maybe punted for the same reasons as you. Was a very bad decision, but somehow they pulled off one hell of an upset, and now Georgia's out of the playoff, so yay.

Sniper Wolf: Yeah, Mid Fodder. MGS isn't that strong anymore, and one-game characters tend to err toward Mid Fodder, possibly High if they're iconic enough. Sniper Wolf is not.

Magneto: Low Midcarder sounds right to me. One of the most iconic villains from Marvel in general, and someone easy to recognize from all of his appearances over the years. Some depends on pics, but I think he's got the potential to make round 3.

Kylo Ren: High Fodder. People know Star Wars better than they know a lot of Mid Fodder. He'll get some anti-votes from the whiners but will get plenty of support to counteract that. And if Episode IX turns out to be great (worth noting that I really enjoyed The Last Jedi because it was fun), he might get a massive spike in popularity here. After TLJ, he's more liked than Rey (who I loved in TFA but found dull in TLJ), so I think he can advance with the right matchup.

Yeah, it is weird, but I think part of it is how people vote in contests that have been around for longer because they know what to look for. It's why, when I do Save My RPG, the votals are way lower than SMFFFC or King of the Mountain. I haven't built up a big enough customer base yet.

We'll see if I continue with it in the future, because I don't know if I will yet.

Nope. I had to buy it for PS2 - $27 after a gift card on GameStop.com. I know that sucks, but it's the only way it's ever going to be because Konami is Evil, and the guy who ported the first four to PSN left the company. Plus nobody buys PS2 Classics anymore :/

It's Delita who does that - and he dies it by lying, manipulating, and murdering. He's one of the few Final Fantasy characters who can be argued to be either a hero or a villain. He has a love story with a princess whom he marries to become king, and it's ambiguous whether he really loves her or is only using her.

I like this guy.

Maybe once I have money I can play FFT. And maybe for now I'll save him.

If you've played 7 and 10 to completion and a little of those other games, then I think you should pick a character you know from those games and vote for whoever is left that you like the most. Pretty simple in my opinion. Save your favorite thing left imo.

The problem is that there aren't many folks I care much about, seeing as I've oddly only played a handful of FF games (beated 7 and 10; tried but stopped 4, 6, and 13 for three different reasons). Somebody make me care. Or suggest which FF game I play whenever the hell I beat Suikoden V.

Sorry to say, it's par for the course for getting a new number. On occasion, I still get a call asking for a "Shameka" or something like that. Lady: Low Fodder. She's not prominent enough, and is not a recognizable character if you haven't played her one game.

Pitfall Harry: Low Fodder. Yeah, he's not retaining half the strength he did against Sonic in ancient times, and the fact that he hasn't made a bracket since - though his game did and got killed by FF1 - is pretty telling that nobody cares. He's toward the bottom of Low Fodder at this point.

DQ8 Hero: High Fodder. He's in Smash (as one skin), had a recent rerelease, and is pretty recognizable, but nobody's going to vote for him if they haven't played a Dragon Quest game. He's a silent protagonist, so he represents a game as opposed to a character. People who haven't played it will vote elsewhere, though him being in Smash and having the look that he does should be enough for them to choose him over Mid or Low Fodder. Erdrick was overrated previously imho, and only looked like Fodder Line in 2013 because he was against two Final Fantasy waifus.

We would be rid of Karishma? She delivered the best confessional of the episode, get taste.

She is frustrating to watch. "I'm different" - well focus on your similarities. "I'm the victim here!" - that was so weird. Maybe your tribe just didn't know how bad the bleeding was? Multiple previous castaways have stated that their entire casts (except for Reem) would've run to check on her. And then bombing the puzzle. And then her backing farther up against the wall by not offering Vince a suggestion at someone else to target. And then the fucking whispering. She's nailing a lot of my pet peeves quickly, and is probably my least favorite on Lairo at this point.

Yeah, this was my thought, too. He spent a whole fucking day away from camp, of course they all talked about what he was doing and whether or not he got an idol. The fact that it was an overnight was quite telling that it was more than the lie Elizabeth and Kellee told.

He should have played it, and we'd be rid of Karishma. He only had two rounds to do so, and now he looks like as much of a jackass as Chris Noble, who had the same thing happen to him... only Chris wasn't away from camp for as long, so Vince was dumber. Nobody knew about Chris having an idol. Everybody knew Vince had one. Also, Chelsea's screwed, if that confessional about her looking at where things went wrong is any indication. Le ugh.

I think the hope here was for a unification of the girls and guys, in case there was a swap on Day 9 like I personally was expecting since Vince didn't draw a name. Could have easily been a 5-5-6-1 split. But there's no swap, and I couldn't be happier. Let's hope there isn't one until 14, and there's no merge until 12 or 11 (that wont' be the case though).

Yeah, take this to the courthouse. It sounds kind of fishy. "You have been sued" being the first sentence does not sound like the kind of thing that'd be in a letter like that.

Jar Jar: Low Fodder. Can't think of any reason why anyone would vote for a much-reviled Star Wars character, even if he is recognizable. I see a ton of people just anti-voting him because "he's annoying" - so he's the rare example of a Star Wars character that's probably worth zero.

Incineroar: High Fodder. One of the most popular Pokemon in recent memory, but it's still recent memory, and I don't see people who aren't Pokemon fans voting for him. S&M being as awful as they were doesn't help matters, but I still think him being in Smash as well as being popular - his wrestling appearance will help, too - lets him beat Mid and Low Fodder. A lot of people know Pokemon, too.

Boko: Mid Fodder. Tied with Kratos Aurion in the 3-ways in his lone appearance with only getting 20% on Zero. Kratos getting that many votes in 2013 is impressive for High Fodder like him. It's not impressive for Boko, who has only made that one contest as opposed to several. JRPG mascots be damned, I guess.

I'm actually kind of okay with removing BD after this year since no one except for like five people actually wants it around, nothing from it will ever get top 5, and I got basically bullied off the board after last year because of it.

I loved quite a bit of BD, but man did it DRAG after a while. And Second was just bad - too much the same as the first, only with the most obnoxious JRPG protagonist you could dream up.

Edea was the best part of both games, hence why I save her.
