Level 1: Pick a winner. Simply pick one team to win their game. If they win, you go on to level 2.

Level 2: Pick an Underdog to win. You must pick a team that is an underdog to win their game.
Underdogs will always be the team listed second.

Level 3: 2 Games with Spread. Using the spreads I provide, pick 2 games. You must get both correct to move on. Spreads work by giving (-) or getting (+) points. The team that is the favorite to win "gives" points to the underdog. If you choose the favorite to win, they must still win after "giving" those points to the underdog. If you choose the underdog, you would be correct if they win the game after "getting" those points. For example, if a game says "Giants (-2.5) vs. Cowboys," if you pick the Giants, they must actually win the game by at least three points; if you pick the Cowboys, you would win if they actually won the game or lost by two points or less.

Level 4: 2 Game differentials. Pick two games and specify them to have a score differential of either 10+ or 5-. Make sure to specify which you pick, if you pick a score to be 10+ and the score ends up 3 apart, you don't get that one correct.

Level 5: 2 Over/Unders: I will now provide over/unders for each game. This number relates to the final score. You must choose 2 of the games and decide whether the final score will be OVER the number I provided or UNDER the number I provided. You must get both of these correct to advance.

Level 6: Pleaser: Pick one team to win using the spread, but with the pleaser, you lose 6 points on the spread. In other words, add six points in whichever direction makes it harder to win. For example, a (-2.5) spread becomes (-8.5), a (+3.5) becomes a (-2.5) spread, etc.

Bonus: Pick a player to have at least 100 receiving yards this week.

Both sides have some impact players missing. Gurley out tells us more passing, Ahkello out tells us the passing could be better. But Rams having Talib and Clay out is also big for 49ers offensively. Could be a good and close-ish game, but you'll see more defensive plays by 49ers than Seahawks vs Rams.

Week 5 had a couple interesting aspects. Neither of our Level 5 people succeeded, Chiefs surprised many spread pickers, and we had the fun of @WiggumFan267 picking literally 4 correct teams in Spreads, first he had Steelers and Cards, then he changed that to Eagles and Broncos. That left one person to end up picking the Steelers (in spreads), which was a nice risk taken by @DpObliVion Congrats.

Taking a look at injuries, both teams are down players at the Tackle position, and that means a bit for Carlos Dunlap, but on the Cardinals side? Suggs isn't practicing. Even without John Ross, I don't think Cards put up enough pressure to beat Dalton.

Buffalo Bills @ Tennessee Titans
Two strong defenses meet, and ultimately you have to ask who has the higher likelihood of playmaking on offense, and I find that to be Gore and the Bills receiving core.

Chicago Bears @ Oakland Raiders
London fight, Bears have a strong defense that can shut down the Raiders, and Chase Daniel showed there's enough worth in him last week. Also, back-up linebacker will need to learn the schemes for Raiders.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ New Orleans Saints
Kamara plows through and Saints put up a decent effort. Cameron Jordan shuts down Winston.

Minnesota Vikings @ New York Giants
Both teams down some major defensive players, but Gallman might not be able to stay healthy against the Vikings defense while Cook should fry up this defense.

Still no Darnold, Falk will remain a bit confused and is facing another tough defense.

Week 4 saw some entertaining situations. First, my new Level 4 was unveiled, and 2/4 of its participants succeeded. One of which (@theawesomestevr) actually did a 5- guess and succeeded. Better than everyone always guessing 10+, like close games still do exist. The other two failed with Patriots, as did many Level 3 people. Hell, no one passed Level 3 last week with some combination of Patriots, Colts, Cowboys, Vikings, Falcons, and Chiefs. Guess scores were a bit overestimated. (There were more wrong picks, but these were picked by people who had one right answer). Of course, I also have to throw out one more shoutout. @thekitchensink really threw everything including the kitchen sink at Level 2, picking the Raiders and advanced on such a unique upset. Congrats.

A few ground rules:
-Please say which level you are on when you post your pick. In most cases it will be obvious, but this makes it easier for me to record the picks.
-The deadline to make a pick is at the start of the second set of games on Sunday afternoon (4:25 PM ET). That means no SNF/MNF picks after most all the games have started or finished. You cannot pick a game that has already started.
-The deadline to answer the bonus question is at the start of games on Sunday (1 PM ET).
-Please post the spreads with your picks, it makes it much easier for me.
-I get my spreads from an online site providing lines from several sources, both in Vegas and out. Although these sources may continue to change their lines throughout the week, the ones I post in the topic are frozen and final for our purposes.
-You may use bonus points to skip any level after it is guaranteed you cannot pass it (at the end of the week's games, typically). You may only skip the level before I have posted the next week's topic. The price for skipping is in proportion to the level you are skipping. Skipping level 1 would take 1 bonus point, level 2 will take 2, level 5 will take 5. So on and so forth.

Level 1: Pick a winner. Simply pick one team to win their game. If they win, you go on to level 2.

Level 2: Pick an Underdog to win. You must pick a team that is an underdog to win their game.
Underdogs will always be the team listed second.

Level 3: 2 Games with Spread. Using the spreads I provide, pick 2 games. You must get both correct to move on. Spreads work by giving (-) or getting (+) points. The team that is the favorite to win "gives" points to the underdog. If you choose the favorite to win, they must still win after "giving" those points to the underdog. If you choose the underdog, you would be correct if they win the game after "getting" those points. For example, if a game says "Giants (-2.5) vs. Cowboys," if you pick the Giants, they must actually win the game by at least three points; if you pick the Cowboys, you would win if they actually won the game or lost by two points or less.

Level 4: 2 Game differentials. Pick two games and specify them to have a score differential of either 10+ or 5-. Make sure to specify which you pick, if you pick a score to be 10+ and the score ends up 3 apart, you don't get that one correct.

Level 5: 2 Over/Unders: I will now provide over/unders for each game. This number relates to
the final score. You must choose 2 of the games and decide whether the final score will be
OVER the number I provided or UNDER the number I provided. You must get both of these
correct to advance.

Whew, I was just gonna skip Level 2 this week until I realized I had to do it in the last topic (and that was without checking the games for this week). Got through it anyway.

I literally added that part of the statement this week since I wasn't 100% sure if I was clear on it. Naturally if you think you didn't make it, now is the time to skip. If you're not sure, I can tell you.

As an extra note, you can't skip a level you haven't actually picked in. So like if you advance from Level 2-3, at the end of the week you can't spend the points to skip level 3 at the end of said week. I hope I have both of those rules clear.
