You typically report income when filing for income taxes. Hence the name....income taxes. Beveren_Rabbit posted... Why do Americans get taxed more for working 2 jobs? They don't? If your taxes get taken out automatically then the amount taken out each paycheck for each job assumes that it's your only job. So if the total income of both jobs puts you in a different tax bracket, but each individual job's withholdings assume you're in a lower tax bracket, then that can lead to owing some money come tax day because you didnt have enough withheld. But you can set it up manually to withhold more if this is the case. But they dont get taxed more for having two jobs. If you had one job that grossed the same income as the two jobs you had, you'd still pay the same taxes. Beveren_Rabbit posted... Why are Americans so eager to report every penny of income just to not get any of the taxes paid back? Taxes are not a loan, you shouldnt get paid back from them. You can highlight enemy units to see what their movement and attack radius is for the next turn. Ideally dont trot one of your units in the middle of multiple enemy attack range without good reason. And if you do, put them on an advantageous square or in a corner where he cant be attacked from all sides. --- |

Because when you play 82 regular season games, or 162 in baseball's case, the games feel like they have no stakes. "Whatever, we won 3 games this week already" "Whatever we play again tomorrow and the next day and the day after" With football you can only see your team play once a week, so you spend the rest of the week talking about the upcoming game. A win makes you feel good for the whole week or bad for the whole week. Theres only 16 games, literally losing one game is the equivalent to a 10 game losing streak in baseball or 5 game losing streak in basketball/hockey. There's more urgency around September when there's less games left, just feels more meaningful. --- |
