It even teases you to start with. That first time you spread your hand out and stream a cloud of fiery death at a zombie is terrific. So you're like, "hey, this is what I'm gonna make. A guy that burns people to death with hand flamethrowers and other nasty spells". And there's no indication until around level 30 that this is a bad plan.

Only way Ive found to compensate for this is to have a decent conjured buddy to draw aggro while abusing the enchanting skill to make it cost nothing to cast Destruction spells.

Which is fine if you don't mind a long fight but you're still strafing about casting endless amounts of fireballs which do about as much damage as throwing peas. Lacks that sense of awe.

No reason to do yourself the disservice of time slot padding and filler on a series of its sheer scale.

I constantly hear this but I prefer the anime to the manga. Shrug.

Padding issues aside I think the comedy pops better with the amazing voice actors they've got going on. And the music is great.

Apparently...yes?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Napalm_Death

Napalm Death are a British grindcore band formed in Meriden, West Midlands, England, in 1981.[1] While none of its original members remain in the group since December 1986, the lineup of vocalist Mark "Barney" Greenway, bassist Shane Embury, guitarist Mitch Harris and drummer Danny Herrera has remained consistent of the band's career since 1992's Utopia Banished, although, from 1989 to 2004, Napalm Death were a five-piece band after they added Jesse Pintado as the replacement of one-time guitarist Bill Steer; following Pintado's departure, the band reverted to a four-piece rather than replace him.

Like a "meal" is about 1.50.

I dunno exactly how it's like over there but I remember looking up similar products here and they make their cost appear lower than it is by mentioning a stat like this and hoping that you don't realize it requires 6 "meals" per day to actually get enough food

The maths is quite easy to work out since the amount of food is very easy to measure.

3 scoops is a "meal" of around 450 calories. So basically I could hypothetically drink 2000-calories a day on this stuff for 6. Which is very cheap all things considered. No electricity required either, so you'd be saving on the cost of running the oven, boiling the kettle, having the gas on, etc. That's a month of food and no electricity spent to make it for what, $200.

For myself living on it full time sounds like hell so I'm just content to replace some or most lunches at work with it. It gives me an extra half hour at lunch too since I don't need to prepare or shop for anything.

It's based on what Gold Rogers says in every episode. "I left everything I own in one piece." Because everywhere he goes everything is his. And he just leaves it alone, in one piece without messing with it.

I love bars but this is absolutely my worst idea of a bar. Sounds more like a club but where people don't bother dancing.

A bar to me is a nice place to get out the house, catch up with folk and soak in some culture. Somewhere busy enough for atmosphere but not so busy that I need to wait more than a minute or two to be served. Maybe even some live music.

Honestly, this was to circumvent how nerfed mages are in Skyrim.

It was so disappointing. I know game development is hard but how could they not realise that it's literally impossible to be a destruction mage?

Think about that. You're a game developer making an RPG about dragons and magic. And you decide at some point that the most powerful spells in the game are actually weaker than a regular sword and take about 10x as long to cast. In essence, being a mage that attacks things directly with magic is not viable.

Or maybe you didn't realise. How that could happen is incredible.

The hardest part is that the first 30 episodes are lame and the animation is like, Dragonball Z quality for the first like...250 episodes.

Seems stupid to tell someone to stick out 30 fucking episodes before it gets good though, but it really does. It went (in my estimations) from "what is this stupid shit" to "Naruto and Bleach authors must be crying at their complete lack of depth right now".

Also the quickest way that I've tested (without cooking the meat) is to put it in a water bath with water at 150F thereabouts. The water quickly cools down so you need to refresh it every so often. So long as it doesn't stay about 140F for any amount of time. You'll thaw out chicken thighs in under half an hour like that.
