It doesn't prove anything except that the parent is probably racist because there was absolutely no reason to mention race in her tweet, and yet she did it anyways.

That being said, the actual Superintendent of the school itself commented on what happened, and the mother straight up even lied about when it happened, which is sketchy, but the fact remains that it did still happen, though the reason she gave is unproven for the reason. I would imagine that the school officials, when punishing the children (which did happen.), would have asked for the reason it happened. Apparently, it was not because of the kid wearing a hat.

Sony got it right by just sticking to a conventional numbering scheme. It did get a little crazy, what with them calling the slim Playstation 1, the Playstation One, and then releasing a product called the PSX later on, which was just a DVR that could also play Playstation 1 games, however everyone had already been calling the normal Playstation the PSX.

Then you get into their portables, with the first being the Playstation Portable, which is great. It tells you precisely what it is, you know what to expect. But then they released the successor to it, which they called the Playstation Vita. Which means absolutely nothing. The word Vita itself means "a biography or rsum.", so no help there whatsoever. Then they released the Playstation TV, which you would assume based on the name it was a television. At the very least, possibly a television cable subscription, but no, that was called Playstation Now. Instead, the Playstation TV is just a Vita sans portability.

TBH, Sony lucked out by just going the number route. It works, people like it, but it wouldn't work for others to follow suit. Nintendo's only major goofs were Wii and Wii U, which are compounded by the fact their audience was casuals and old people that probably couldn't understand there was a difference. Only the original Xbox has a reasonable name. 360 was dumb. One was dumb. This new one is dumb.

But they should have known two patches ago that ladders kill companions, because people were explicitly saying Parvati glitching out on the ladder was what was triggering the kill flag for her. So them saying it was incredibly hard to figure out just kind of makes them look kind of inept.

It's one thing to know what the issue is, it's another to figure out what's causing it. So while they may not have known before people figured out that it might be ladders, they most likely were certainly looking into it, and then they got word that it might be ladders, so now they look into that, and...well, you get it.

A really underrated Xbox feature is streaming your Xbox to PC (and soon mobile). This let's me play my xbox all over the house through my laptop, use a PC headset for game audio (and easy access to chat apps), and do game sharing/local coop over the internet with screen share programs like Parsec. It's really spiffy, the only shortcoming is that the window must be active for controller input.

Not if you just keep the controller connected to the Xbox, instead of the computer. When it tells you there's no controller connected, just click continue.

It has a nubbin in between the "G", "H", and "B" keys that I hit all the time trying to hit either of those keys. And then the touchpad has an extra three buttons above it, for the mouse nubbin, but they're not the same. It's two same sized buttons for left and right click, and then a smaller, middle button, for...scrolling. I hit them all the time when trying to press space, but not that it does anything, because they're weird buttons. They hinge down, except for the middle button, which hinges up. I can't figure out a better way to explain how these keys actuate other than on a hinge, and they also take a surprising amount of force to actually push down.

Now, I can disable all these things, and I have, but they're still physically present on the keyboard, and they're still physically annoying.

I don't know if he's complaining for complaining's sake here or if AVGN is really that clueless. The time limit is absolutely integral and foundational to what makes MM great. Yes it creates some gameplay challenges that aren't to everyone's tastes, but nothing that he says he likes about the game would be possible without it. At least he gives a more balanced assessment at the end.

No. The time limit could be completely removed and the game would stay the absolute same. All it is, is an annoying mechanic to hide limitations of the N64.
