I never finished Bravely Default. The second half of the game wasn't great.

Bravely Second seemed alright from what I played.
The dev team really needs to learn how to make maps that don't completely suck and use the same assets though.

And there is.

I actually played through Bravely Second recently. The story admittedly was pretty bad. But you play that game for the insanely deep job and battle systems. And accordingly, there are some brutally difficult boss battles in that game.

I just hope that they at least somewhat build upon the big cliffhanger Second left on, and not pretend like that game never existed.

I mean There is time travel and multiple dimensions and alternate realities. So I assume this is Bravely Third in disguise. I don't doubt at all that at some point Ringabel and Magnolia are gonna show up to dish out some interdimensional justice.
